I’m so glad that I experienced this book in audio. Zara and Joe did a fantastic job at bringing these two characters to life. We were built for each other, even on the foundation of betrayal. It was only ever him. I hated to love him. He was a monster.' Shit. I feel bad with this but hear me out. I feel like this was a filler novel of sorts. Like the plot was there but then it ends. I loved Kingston. I loved that Eleanor was too good for him but she loved him anyways. But with that being said we never got their big declaration of love. When I finished it I was like wait that isn’t the end. There wasn’t more? I mean Lex/Wren got a duet I thought for sure the next was a continuation of the two of them. Sadly it’s not. I wanted more. I guess this one just missed the mark for me. Also. I was not okay with ace dying, that shit hurt.

stars I didn’t love it as much as I thought I would, but I also didn’t hate it either. The storyline was good but somehow fell flat and missed the mark. The heroine was just a little too naïve to be believable; there’s a fine line between naïve/innocent and “too stupid to live” and unfortunately she towed the line closer to the latter. Without giving too much away, the actions of Ellie were just too unrealistic for me, like your friend has gone missing and a strange man tells you he can help and it’s evident he has accessed your home and knows personal info about you, yet you agree to go to be escorted to an unknown location? Like can you really be that dumb? I do wish she was more confident she was too weak from in my opinion. The sex scenes were out of this world amazing!! Usually in books I get tired of them cause it just gets boring sometimes but with king and Eleanor it never did 🤭 even tho it was a fantasy of hers I was NOT expecting ace to be in that room lol the chapter wow it had me wanting a cold shower 🥵 The audio of this is utterly fantastic with a duet narration by Zara Hampton-Brown and Joe Arden. Zara did a great job differentiating between past Isobel when she was younger and more innocent from how she is in the present where she’s stronger and more certain of herself. And as always Joe is amazing with his portrayal of not only Hunter but also the other male characters in this book.The ending wtf was that?!? Their was no closure they went to crimson and that’s it seriously?!?! They never even told each other they loved each other and it’ll never make sense if that happens in isobel’s book it’ll just be stupid that part was such a disappointment!! Plus Kingston didn’t really get the syndicate okay fine he did a little but what cmon he could of gotten the other two and then left the younger one for isobel 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ that part I hated it just didn’t make sense like cmon the author really let me down with that. Once again we’re pulled into the world of the seedy underbelly of London and get tangled up with the Hearts…and the Syndicate. Savage Heart further explores just how far the Syndicate reaches and what people will do to shut it down. I've read almost all of Emma's other books, including those she writes as Samantha Garman. I love her work because she creates beautiful, intriguing worlds filled with flawed, sometimes malevolent, characters but somehow makes you understand and respect them by the end. Lovers of her SINS series will find similarities in how she creates the hero and heroine and will be intrigued by the connections between the worlds. Ellena is a good girl and Kingston doesn’t want or need to fall for a woman, especially one that is too sweet, too pure of heart to be tainted by a man like him. But after he gets a taste, he realizes once wasn’t enough, and he wants more. You should always speak your mind. There will be times that I don't want to hear it. Times that I disagree with you. Times that I agree with you. There will be times that I know you're right, but wish you were wrong. Or I'll know you're wrong but wish you were right."

I won’t be reading isobel’s book even tho I would like to know what happens I haven’t liked isobel in this book I wouldn’t be able to put up with her anymore. The narration was so well done. Joe Arden is a fan favorite, and his narration in this book was AMAZING!! I am now on a mission to find more books with his voice diction of Kingston (you will love that guy a well). I am not as familiar with Zara Hampton-Brown but she is now on a short list of finding more books. The acting was well done and really felt like you were there in the story and not being read to. The production choices of how it was sliced together and pacing was perfect. I had no idea what to say. Until his actions crashed into me. I vowed to never be that weak little girl again to never let them hurt me like they had before. So I trained. I trained hard knowing that one day I would have my revenge. Thank you for this story (while King is still my favorite - I've claimed him) I would let Hunter and his dark broken piece in any time.

Al principio el juego del tira y afloja de los protagonistas mantuvieron las cosas interesantes pero luego era demasiado sexo, lujuria, lujuria, lujuria... y no tengo problemas con eso pero ya no fue mí taza de té en el momento en que el protagonista decide realizar una fantasía para la protagonista al compartirla con su mejor amigo. Eso fue un no para mí. Mis héroes mafiosos no comparten a sus amadas. She is one strong, powerful woman. She went through stuff that not many may come out strong from but she pushed all her anger, resentment, and sadness, into getting her revenge. And revenge she got. She turned herself into a rising phoenix and became the one they all feared when coming face to face with. Isobel is my queen. The fire she holds inside her is one so powerful she can burn them all. I loved her. How she held herself even though her fears would make her overthink, she overcame them with the help of the one person she loves the most. She was a bad bitch, one I strive to be.

Views of sea birds, dolphins, seals, and sea eagles, beach walks, and Summer Isle sunsets make this a special destination. As far as characters go, if you like a MMC that is possessive, makes it clear what he wants from you, and also will protect you at all costs; then Colt is that guy. While he wasn’t sweet per say, his actions let you know he was 100 down for Mia. Gotta love that in a guy. Hunter has kept his eyes on her all these years, he is deeply In Love with her, and he is not ever going to let go of her. She will forever be his, and he will do whatever it takes for her to realize it. He may be a ruthless monster, but he will always be her monster. He would burn the entire world down for her. King is going after the syndicate and he enlists Eleanor to help him since she works in Tobias and Garrets building and has access to him. She agrees and then of course the sex between them starts happening.Eleanor was the perfect match for Kingston. She is strong and determined to find answers and will always go out of her way to help those she can. She doesn’t blindly accept what she’s told and I love that she was sweet, yet not a doormat. She was relatable and some of her reactions had me laughing out loud. La historia empezó bien, tenía suspenso, drama y algunos giros que me mantuvieron leyendo. El protagonista quería vengar a su hermana y acabar con las cabezas que dirigían el tráfico de mujeres y quiénes le hicieron daño, después estaba la protagonista que de pronto se mete en el peligroso y violento mundo del crimen organizado cuando su mejor amiga desaparece y sospecha que su jefe tiene que ver con su desaparición. Así que me sonaba emocionante y quería ver cómo todo esto se iba a desarrollar. Mia … There were so many times that I wanted to stop reading this book because of her. I feel like she was written to be tough, but honestly, she was tiring AF. She was selfish and didn’t really understand that she couldn’t take on the world by herself. My favorite thing about Ria as an author is her ability to write strong female leads. I love how Isobel stood her ground, especially when it came to fighting the enemy. She had a weakness for Hunter, and he did for her as well. His one mission in life is to avenge the kidnapping, violation, and years-long torture of his sister by the Syndicate, a worldwide criminal organization. He meets Eleanor in the office of one of the leaders of the Syndicate who’s masquerading as a law-abiding citizen, hiding in plain sight. She is the man’s personal assistant, and Kingston is immediately attracted and intrigued by her. He doesn’t understand it and has no time for it, until he realizes she might be just the spy he needs to take down the Syndicate once and for all. He coerces and seduces her under the guise of revenge, but winds up falling in love for real. Together they work to bring the leaders of the Syndicate to justice, but will the cost of retribution be too high?
