About this deal

La historia en contada en dos tiempos en Soho, en la postguerra de los años 20s por Arlette y por Betty en los 90s. Oh My Stars! What a beautiful, amazing book! I became a forever fan of Tari Faris' books last year when I read her novella P.S. Goodbye, and fell even deeper in love with her books when I read You Belong With Me! I seriously didn't think this author's writing could get any more amazing, but I was proven wrong! One of the things I love about this author's books is that they feature two love stories. I loved Libby and Austin, their story was wonderful and I was rooting for them from the start, though as much as I loved Libby and Austin's story I think Nate and Olivia's story was definitely my favorite! I have been head over heels in love with Nate since he first appeared in P.S. Goodbye and I've been eagerly anticipating his story, it was everything I had dreamed it would be and so much more! Cinder is a broken woman with a dark past. She doesn’t let anyone into her life, preferring to be alone. When Sebastian literally forces himself into her life she is left questioning her solitude. He brings out a side of her that has been long since buried away by past evils in her life. I was in love with this book before I even knew what it was going to be about. Before I knew the title, and before I knew who it would be about. While we’re on the topic of assumptions, though, I want to say something. I sometimes make assumptions about people. I think it’s a thing we humans do. Based on our own personal experiences and knowledge, we assume we know what’s best for people or what someone meant by something they said just because of their tone. But I wonder, how many times do we misread the situation? How many times do we not see the hurt behind the tone, that the person had a bad day prior to that moment that gave out that wonky tone that pushed our own buttons to make an assumption? I know a lot of times I can have other things on my mind when I respond to people and don’t realize that the words and tone and intention didn’t all match up to indicate what I really meant. How many times could it be the same for other people too?

This was a cute and light read. This was my first read in the series, and I just adored the small town vibes!! (Otis xD) Sebastian knows his life will change forever with he meets a broken Cinder in his ER. He definitely has his work cut out for him trying to break down those walls she has so carefully constructed. Even his good looks and kindness could not convince Cinder to give him a real chance. The chemistry between them is amazing but it’s the patience and tenderness that Sebastian shows that will have you falling for him.

Until I Met You by Ishani Malhotra is not a typical romance. It has twists, deviations, real characters, with flaws just as endearing as their qualities, and above all, it has a storyline that binds everything together beautifully.

Overall, I really liked how this came down to be a story of Sam discovering what she wanted out of life, healing herself and her relationships through looking at herself honestly, and being true to your feelings. With small town charm and beautifully crafted characters, Until I Met You, the second installment of author Tari Faris’ Restoring Heritage series, is sure to delight readers of contemporary romance. Readers can start with this book and fully understand the storyline, but to get the full enjoyment of the Restoring Heritage series, I recommend reading P.S. Goodbye (the prequel novella) and You Belong With Me (book one) first. These books are a great introduction to many of the characters who will play an important role in the Restoring Heritage series. Until I Met You is another solid entry in the Restoring Heritage series. I highly recommend it to fans of small town romance! 5 stars. My initial impression of this book was that it was a sweet, historical cozy mystery, but as I read further along I realized it had unexpected heart and depth.

This line made me laugh so hard: “This library didn’t need to be reopened. It needed to be resuscitated.”

UNTIL I MET YOU is an amazing and sweet fairytale story, be it somewhat twisted, but amazing nonetheless. It is everything you want in a romance book and more. This book is so well written I didn’t want it to end. Definitely swooning worthy. The storyline has you falling head over heads for these characters. I know I did. I can hardly wait to find out what happens next in the Restoring Heritage series (if it continues, which I hope for so much). Yes, Amber Rose Gill did write a romance novel with all the best vibes of Love Island including: all the characters were interesting, complex, and you rooted for their happy ever after, tropical island setting, and the relationships you make outside the "real world" can be some of the truest in your life. Told in chapters that alternate between 1919–21 and 1995, Jewell unfolds each detail of Arlette's secret past with impeccable timing." - Publishers Weekly

Samantha, an aspiring travel blogger, is headed to Trinidad and Tobago for her best friend's wedding, and it should be a great and fun trip for her! Or at least it would be had she not been dumped days before she was meant to travel. I like the story because the characters are flawed and the romance isn't as rushed as some tend to want to do. The lady in the fur coat paused for a beat and then bowed down so that her head was level with Elizabeth’s and said, “Hello, Elizabeth. I’ve heard a lot about you.”
