About this deal

pigmentation disturbance, decolouration of skin (hypopigmentation), burning sensation, an erythema, exudation, an itching Do not put the cream under a dressing, such as a plaster or bandage, as this makes it easier for the active ingredient of the medicine to pass through the skin and possibly cause some unwanted effects. Glucocorticosteroids for topical treatment of diseases of skin. Corticosteroids active in a combination with other drugs. Betamethasone in a combination with other drugs. mg/g бетаметазон (като 0,64 mg бетаметазонов дипропионат), 10 mg/g клотримазол и 1 mg/g гентамицин (като гентамицинов сулфат) If corticosteroids are used for long periods of time, on large areas of skin, raw skin, skin folds, or under airtight dressings (including children's nappies) they are absorbed into the body more. This increases the risk of local side effects such as skin thinning, and those on other parts of the body, such as a decrease in the production of natural steroid hormones by the adrenal glands. For this reason, continuous, long-term use of this medicine should be avoided wherever possible, particularly if used inchildren, on the face, oron large areas of skin. If used in children or on the face treatment should not last longer than five days.

Systemic absorption of topical corticosteroids has produced reversible hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis suppression, manifestations of Cushing’s syndrome, hyperglycemia, and glucosuria in some patients. To use the dental paste, press a small dab onto the mouth ulcer but do not rub in the medicine. The dab will form a thin film that should be left in place for several hours. Triamcinolone dental paste is usually applied at bedtime and/or after meals. Follow your doctor's instructions. Rarely, it is possible this medication will be absorbed from the skin into the bloodstream. This can lead to side effects of too much corticosteroid. These side effects are more likely in children, and in people who use this medication for a long time or over large areas of the skin. Tell your doctor right away if any of the following side effects occur: unusual/extreme tiredness, weight loss, headache, swelling ankles/feet, increased thirst/urination, vision problems. In adults the changes in hormone levels may lead rarely to puffiness or rounding of the face, weakness, tiredness, and dizziness when standing or sitting down. For adults and children over the age of 12 years a layer of cream should be gently massaged into the affected and surrounding skin areas twice a day, in the morning and evening. The topical corticosteroids constitute a class of primarily synthetic steroids used as anti-inflammatory and antipruritic agents. Triamcinolone acetonide is a member of this class. Triamcinolone acetonide is chemically pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione, 9-fluoro-11,21-dihydroxy-16,17-[(1-methylethylidene)bis-(oxy)]-(11β, 16α)- with the empirical formula C

Side effects that may happen with inhaled or oral corticosteroids may also occur with corticosteroids used on the skin, especially in infants and children. Prolonged use of this medicine on extensive areas of skin, broken or raw skin, skin folds or underneath airtight dressings may on very rare occasions result in enough corticosteroid being absorbed to have side effects on other parts of the body, for example a decrease in the production of natural hormones by the adrenal glands, or symptoms of Cushing's syndrome - see important information above. Any of the side effects that are reported following systemic use of corticosteroids, including adrenal suppression, manifestation of Cushing's syndrome, hyperglycemia, and glycosuria may also occur with topical steroids, especially in infants and children. Wash your hands before and after using Triderm, unless you are using this medicine to treat the skin on your hands. white or "pruned" appearance of the skin (caused by covering treated skin with a tight bandage or other covering).Your doctor will tell you how long to use the cream for. Your skin infection should start to improve and the redness and itchiness will ease within the first few days of treatment. If you use more than the correct amount of cream and/or use it for longer than is recommended, it can affect the levels of certain hormones in the body, particularly in infants and children. This medicine should not be used during breastfeeding unless considered essential by your doctor. If it is prescribed by your doctor it should not be used on large areas of skin, underneath airtight dressings or for prolonged periods of time. If it is applied to the breasts it should be washed off carefully before breastfeeding and then reapplied afterwards. Each gram contains: 1 mg triamcinolone acetonide USP in a cream base consisting of purified water, emulsifying wax, mineral oil, propylene glycol, sorbitol solution, cetyl palmitate, sorbic acid, and potassium sorbate. Hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal axis suppression, Cushing's syndrome and intracranial hypertension have been reported in children receiving topical corticosteroids. Manifestation of adrenal suppression in children include linear growth retardation, delayed weight gain, low plasma cortisol levels, and absence of response to ACTH stimulation. Manifestation of intracranial hypertension include bulging fontanelles, headaches, and bilateral papilloedema.
