These are measured candelas. Mode The Nitecore HC65 V2 moved from the CREE XML2 to the Luminus SST40 LED. This is a pretty popular LED that you see in many flashlights these days. Moving from the CREE to the Luminus is a nice upgrade. Like most Nitecore products, my HC65 V2 came with a cool white LED.Although the SST40-W is available in 5000K, 5700K, and 6500K.
