Cross references and translator’s footnotes appear in the center column. It does have lots of references for study. Here are a few examples to help you compare: Rather than the original translator’s footnotes it includes Nelson’s footnotes on the translation, which provide modern equivalents to many of the archaic words. For a Christian, it is extremely important to read the Bible. It is a way to feel more close to God. The in-text maps are in full color. They’re annotated well and there are lots of them throughout the text. There are a few charts, such as the dreams and vision is Daniel, but there aren’t as many as I’d like.
