Logan left the band in early 1989, due to several bouts of illness, including chronic fatigue syndrome, [21] and the fact he could no longer walk and was being assisted on and off stage. Logan was admitted to hospital for six weeks, and once released from hospital he spent a further six months of rehabilitation to learn to walk again.
