Analog Mixer for Live Sound Buying Guide A bit of history For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs. Clear, Easy-to-Use Layout Users say that Behringer Xenyx X1222USB is incredibly user-friendly, easy to use, and has a very detailed manual with a lot of diagrams showing how to plug everything in. It has a decent build quality and is very durable. Users like it for being very reasonably priced. Also, this mixer has a lot of useful features and excellent sound quality. What we think

Live 802 is well made and, although the channels feel a little cramped, overall it's very easy to use. The basic channel EQs are perfect for sculpting and, with their compressors, channels one and two make a perfectly usable front-end. Let’s get your live sets sounding professional and clean with the best analog mixer for live sound. Soundcraft Signature 16 is an outstanding analog mixer with the superior build quality and a very impressive amount of features. It has 48 V phantom power on each and every channel as well as high pass filters and 4-band EQs with 2 swipeable mid-bands. It also features USB connectivity, 3 separate AUX buses, 4 mono and 2 stereo subgroups, and one FX bus. Onboard it has Lexicon plugins, DBX limiters, and Soundcraft Ghost mic preamps, which will give you a lot of headroom and almost unprecedented clarity of sound. User impressions Those compressors on the first two channels have just one knob each for ‘more or less’ compression, with an amber LED giving an indication of how much compression is being applied — similar to the system used on some Yamaha mixers. There’s a headphone outlet with its own level control, and for controlling the channel and master levels there are 60mm faders rather than the rotary pots typically found on compact mixers. Record your mix directly to a Mac or PC with a single USB connection. Live 802’s built-in USB port allows engineers, producers, and performers to convert two channels of 24-bit audio (Main Mix or Sub Mix 1/2) straight to a computer. Record live performances, band practices, theatre performances, speaking events, and any other live sound event onto your computer for additional editing, mixing, and post-production. The USB connection is bi-directional, enabling sound files stored on your computer to be streamed to and played through Live 802.Microphone inputs (XLR) are equipped with DNA preamps. Switchable phantom power allows for the use of any type of microphone. Select mic channels offer dynamic compression, each with individual control. I've not yet explored the full range of functions offered by the 802. I play in a duo and run two mics and two acoustic/electric guitars through the mixer. The sound is crystal clear. All of the effects sound good in my living room, but to this point, the only effects I've sampled in a playing situation and at volume, are a few of the reverb plus delay settings & a couple of the plate reverbs. Once I dialed in a setting that sounded good in the room, I let well enough alone. The quality of the effects themselves are to my ear, top notch. If vintage consoles are valued first and foremost for their coloration, modern analog mixers, on the contrary, tend to sound extremely transparent and clean. So when it comes to the difference between digital and analog mixers, especially when it comes to live sound, we are clearly talking about functionality because they usually tend to sound very identical. You should get an instant answer on whether your application has been successful, though in some rare cases Klarna or V12 may need to look at the application in more detail.
