Some of they entertaining others really just fleshing out aspects hinted at in the books (and film) but all if interest and creatively presented.The peculiar world is so vast and complex that I could easily imagine Ransom Riggs writing peculiar short story collections in the future that revolve around characters like Gloria. As such it does not read linearly but rather as a series of articles covering a wide range of topics. There is a lot of lore found such as the type of peculiars we’ve seen in the series, how they lived and there are even some personal stories and interesting facts. The addition of Miss Peregrine’s comments and notes to Jacob made it tie in with the series in a fun way, so I’m glad I read it immediately after finishing the series. This book is about the history of Peculiardom that gives emphasis to its secrets and lifestyle, as authored by Miss Alma Peregrine herself.

This was not made like other book guides, its written out of miss p's point if view and for godsaken fucks there was so much not mentioned in the books and even more left to imagination.
