I thought: surely BtVS will be released on HD soon, I mean every other show seems to be getting the high def treatment, it's just a matter of time. Popularizing a particular genre of TV horror, which involved young adults and/or 20-somethings being put into supernatural situations, it was the beginning of a trend that continues to this day.

restoration for any supposed "new, improved" release, but I'd be hard pressed to make that same argument for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The Joss Whedon (Firefly) creation stars Kristy Swanson, Luke Perry, Donald Sutherland, Paul Reubens, David Arquette and Rutger Hauer. Cast as the second in command under vampire leader Lothos (Rutger Hauer), Slayer found Reubens in career salvage mode, as he still needed to work his way back after his porn theater scandal of 1991. Either way, this is a decent compendium of Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Complete Series on DVD, but it’s need of a major home video update.

Season 1 episodes are: 'Welcome to the Hellmouth', 'The Harvest', 'Witch', 'Teacher's Pet', 'Never Kill a Boy On the First Date', 'The Pack', 'Angel', 'I, Robot.

The “Buffy” blu-ray DVDs will present a higher-quality experience for those viewers who want the best collection possible of the classic television show that transformed the way that people watch TV as well as an entire generation’s attitude towards women. A young girl, destined to slay vampires, demons and other infernal creatures, deals with her life fighting evil, with the help of her friends. However, when a mysterious figure named Merrick (Donald Sutherland) pops up, Buffy learns she must follow a different path as the preordained “chosen one” intended to fight vampires. For Season Two (Discs 4-9), there’s an audio commentary for Reptile Boy by David Greenwalt; an audio commentary for What’s My Line, Pt.

The problem is just bad decision making and poor effort, Joss Whedon himself needs to find a way to take charge of this project and redo it all from scratch so that it can be kept to the original filmmakers vision. I saw no issues with jagged edges or shimmering, and both edge haloes and print flaws remained absent. Every excuse from him that I have seen has been about how the show was never been meant to be seen in widescreen format. The thing is, we haven't heard a damn thing about any sort of "re-do" on the remastering effort that was previously "attempted.

Two characters who had seemed to be like oil and water start to grow in maturity and find that they may just mesh after all. Part 2)', 'Ted', 'Bad Eggs', 'Surprise', 'Innocence', 'Phases', 'Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered', 'Passion', 'Killed By Death', 'I Only Have Eyes for You', 'Go Fish', 'Becoming (Part 1)' and 'Becoming (Part 2)'. Man, I had this entire series on DVD but went on a high def phase when I thought all sd is garbage on a widescreen full hd tv (not exactly untrue, but still), and therefore I shouldn't hold on to it (if I don't watch it regularly I should probably sell it and make a few extra bucks, right?

The slayer begins an abusive relationship because she needs to feel a connection to something in any way possible. Woodside; an audio commentary on Dirty Girls by Drew Goddard and Nicholas Brendon; an audio commentary on Chosen by Joss Whedon; six featurettes ( Buffy: It’s Always Been About the Fans, Season 7 Overview – Buffy: Full Circle, Buffy 101: Studying the Slayer, Generation S, The Last Sundown, Buffy Wraps); outtakes; Willow’s Demon Database accessible via DVD-ROM; and an Easter egg of a brief complete series montage. In the finale, the world is saved by someone helping another with her mental angst following a tragedy. Buffy loses her bedroom at home after moving to the dormitories at the University of California at Sunnydale, Willow realizes something life-altering about herself, Giles goes through a mid-live crisis, and Xander meanders his way through a series of part-time, dead-end jobs while living in his parents’ basement. As expected, this kinda sorta repackaging includes the same meager supplements Michael detailed in his Buffy the Vampire Slayer Blu-ray review.
