It’s good to see that this tool can clip onto the wand, so you can carry it around as you get on with your vacuuming. I found that with the Beldray 2-In-1 Cordless Vacuum (BEL01088ALFOB), I’d have to give mess multiple sweeps, whereas other cleaners would tackle the mess on one.
I tried the Beldray Airgility Cordless Quick Vac Lite Vacuum Cleaner at home to test its performance - particularly its suction power on multiple surfaces - and to find out how easy it is to empty the bagless dust container. The thing I like most is that there are no cables to trip over and can be used as a small hand held item or as a stand up one. V of long lasting power, it can be used as a handheld unit or with the 2 in 1 crevice tool to clean hard to reach areas. dust container is large enough for several cleaning sessions, but for the purpose of this review I emptied it during my first try.As this is a cheap vacuum cleaner, there are only two accessories in the box: a motorised floor head and a combination crevice tool/brush. While the Beldray 2-In-1 Cordless Vacuum may feel a little more cheaply made than its high-end rivals, such as the Dyson V15 Detect, it doesn’t feel fragile. The cordless vacuum cleaner is incredibly lightweight and ultra-versatile, allowing for efficient, quick and easy multi-surface cleaning.
Electric suction prevents dripping, while an included spray bottle and microfibre cloth ensure the perfect finish without elbow grease. On the downside, the filter needs washing far more frequently than I’d like; Beldray’s official line is every three weeks but I found I needed to do it at least once a week to maintain precious suction power. The power connects into a small hole in the main motor unit and there are three lights that indicate power levels as they charge up. With a charge time of 3-4 hours, the vacuum has an operating time of 45 minutes and includes a wall mount for simply storage after use. LEDs at the front of the floor head help light up where you’re going and it’s nice to see this on such a low-cost vacuum cleaner.
It eliminates the need for 2 separate attachments, and instead combines the 2 into 1, with a simple sliding mechanism. To better assess the Beldray Airgility Pet Max’s suction power, I tried sucking up both flour and popcorn kernels (out of date of course) on the wooden floor in our kitchen. The task isn’t hard but then you have to wait for the filter to dry before you can vacuum again so requires an organised approach – or a second filter.Great to know Beldray sell a vacuum cleaner that is easy to use , does the job, and doesn't involve a herculean struggle to stop everything it gets near getting sucked In or levitating. A hoover that you don't have to switch on, and don't have to switch off and which is "hoovering away" on its own!
