About this deal

the forte version doesnt have the bright citrus opening of the original, the lavender and the other woody notes are amplified. Season-wise, I see this as a daytime frag for any season except winter, unless you live in a mild climate.

Aramis Tuscany and Devin are definately cornerstone for todays woody perfumes same as Eau sauvage or Guerlein Vetiver, so if you are Classy man, this one is for you. I love the bitterness of the lemon in the opening and it's truly a powerful citrus with a zesty lime to it as well! Two friends had Tuscany given to them from their wives at Christmas - reportedly because of my patronage. Update: Wow, I just put another spray in my wrist, and I definitely get more of the citrus when first applied. I’ve decided I don’t like mint in a cologne unless it’s sea breeze antiseptic, and that’s more of a peppermint smell. The cologne features a coastal, deep marine scent that is more subtle than its contemporaries; it’s the perfect option for a more relaxed, daily scent.

This is my first Aramis, before this I think this brand suited for more matured people but since I will turn 27 next month, I give it a chance to try this.On occasion, the designer may change the packaging but not the formulation of a product or fragrance.

This is old school, to be sure, a real aromatic fougere that has borrowed a few notes from the chype genre, but with charm enough to feel you can wear it without recourse to bracketing your appreciation with the costumery of nostalgia. I also have the current version of Azzaro Pour Homme, which isn't as much like Tuscany as I'd hoped. The wonderful thing about scents is that there is terroir in them, they are regional and the ingredients were sometimes not artificial but found only in nature. Disclaimer: Sellers are responsible for following applicable laws and regulations, including properly labelling and disclosing the ingredients of their cosmetics and personal care products, as applicable. Sketching the temporal landscape, we see in its topography peaks and valleys, progress and regress, and it's fascinating how fragrance can be a marker to a time that we may romanticize. To my nose this is by far one of the best Aramis scents I own, and would feel comfortable putting it in my top Aramis scents. Top notes are Lemon, Lavender, Bergamot and Lime; middle notes are Anise, Caraway, Orange Blossom and Tarragon; base notes are Leather, Oakmoss, Basil, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Cinnamon and Tonka Bean. All in all a fantastic scent, and as its namesake would imply it certainly has a touch of elegance about it, just wish it lasted longer. Not a bad scent, but my first impression was definitely a let down and while I do not hate this fragrance, I do not love it. There's also a strong leathery feel which persists right through to dry down, which becomes close to the skin.

The dry down is warm, sweet and earthy, with basil, cinnamon, tonka, oak moss and patchouli closing out the scent. I wore some of this on my wrist today to compare to Drakkar Noir, and Tuscany just consistently smelled better. I am a fan of Aramis fragrances in general and I bought this one recently, I now have 7 scents from this brand and find them quite different and suited to different occasions. Big coke bottle glasses a flopping fishing hat and sand flying into the doorway off his shoes and a grin that I'd swore he could have bought just yesterday. More than thirty years ago (in my teens) I was wandering around Florence and noticed a clergyman wearing a flawless clean white shirt, a fashionable cassock, and shiny Prada shoes.I've loved this since the 90's when I bought it as part of an Aramis Gentlemen's Range sample pack on a long-haul Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt back home to Australia. Strangely enough there were all these 80’s powerhouse colognes such as Ted Lapidus, Jacques Bogart, and Aramis. Its one of those unique old school scents thats feels and smells fresh and clean but woody and leathery at the same time.
