About this deal

What Daniel Craig’s reinvention did was to create a very human and vulnerable James Bond, a Bond that suffers, that ages, that grows, and in his five films he gave Bond a beginning and an end, from recruitment to retirement. However, the jewel of the supplements is the excellent Being James Bond mini-documentary – this was released on iTunes during the film’s cinematic run and at 45 mins is a fascinating and in-depth chat with Craig, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson that plays out over some wonderful behind the scenes imagery. There’s a sense of that in the Maguffin as well, a little too far-fetched, approaching the campness, and sci-fantasy shenanigans of films like Moonraker and The Spy Who Loved Me, where films like Spectre and Skyfall had more plausible motives for their respective villains.

No Time To Die completely fails to match the grandeur and munificence of the back catalogue Bond Blu-rays when it comes to extra features, and in an annoying move, it turns out that the UHD release of No Time To Die has a comparatively substantial exclusive featurette. In a lesser film, these issues could have been fatal, but because No Time To Die is more about the characters, about Bond in particular, characters that the film has taken pains to get the audience invested in, that it’s possible to dismiss the film’s flaws and just revel in what it gets right, which it does so for most of its runtime. It’s a film packed with the action that you’d expect from the franchise, the kind of doomsday scenario and villain’s lair that the last few films have been rather tentative about, finally embracing what the earlier Bonds did with tedious regularity by the end, yet when it comes to character arcs, this is the most personal story yet. The Daneil Craig series was to reset Bond in the era of Bourne movies, gone are the silly gadgets and the product placement.Oscar winner Rami Malek ( Bohemian Rhapsody, Mr Robot, The Master) suffers the most from this, rendered almost totally redundant and coming across as little more than a characterless cipher. by offering to purchase goods and services you represent to us that you are 18 years of age or over and authorise us to transmit information (included updated information) to obtain information from third parties, including but not limited to, your debit or credit card numbers or credit reports to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions. and crew interviews and beautiful footage to look at the globetrotting story that unfolds in the film. It is still heavily post-produced though, with a somewhat de-saturated colour palette to reflect its gritty approach. This thrilling installment of the iconic franchise is a masterpiece, and watching it in high-definition on Blu-ray adds a whole new level of cinematic experience.

His old friend, Felix Leiter shows up on the island, looking for a favour, when that scientist pops up again in Cuba. The film did not go as I thought it would though I did know Craig was bailing out of the Bonds’ well for me not a bad film and as always they get the settings right . You only need to look at those final close ups of Craig’s face at the 2 hour 33-minute mark to see how it all comes together to give a stunning visual presentation.

A Global Journey (2160p, 7:50): In the Bond tradition, No Time to Die travels the globe to build its story. Intimate, personal, and endlessly fascinating, it's great to have this included, even if it’s the only extra not in 4K. And after a handful of these recent tentpole releases not quite meeting these expectations – no native 4K, no DV, Disney we’re looking at you etc. Piers Bronson's version was, but this film seems like a collection of scenes just stuck together and only a few of it 'new'.
