You cant expect much from this only being a 100 inflatable kayak but I can say I am pleasantly surprised at the durability and how easy it is to inflate. Reason for sale: Kayaks were purchased from a major online supplier when they were on offer for the purpose of resale. The goal is to show ads that are relevant and engaging for each individual user, making the ads more valuable for publishers and third-party advertisers.

We also have to say that we had good conditions for kayaking with an inflatable kayak that day (no wind or waves). I think because it’s so light, it can get pulled around a bit by the wind/waves, so you just have to put a little bit more effort in (which isn’t a bad thing!That’s why you should be very careful with the Explorer K2 and prevent any contact with stones and branches. We don’t recommend the Intex Explorer K2 for trips on the water with grounding included, that can happen on rivers. In other news, with this being a sit in inflatable kayak, I did found it more difficult to use the oars to row and maintain any sort of consistent pace (on a lake). You can still paddle the kayak like that but sure the weight imbalance will have some affect on the paddling performance.

The inflatable seat makes the kayaking experience nice and comfortable, and I personally enjoy lying back and taking my legs out on top of the nose of the kayak on very still water! The boat skin is a simple PVC foil without any reinforcement (such as a polyester core on the inside).You can then sit in the kayak and use your arms to push yourself into the water until you are floating on the surface. It's fun and sporty with a streamlined design for easier paddling - it's vibrant colour makes it highly visible on the water. Packing away is a bit of a pain (but I’d still prefer it than heaving a fibreglass kayak over my head and strapping onto a car! A lot of people wonder what the differences between the Intex Explorer K2 and Intex Challengers K2 are. It’s okay if you’re planning to chill at the beach for an hour or two after your kayak so they can sit and deflate by themselves, but if you’re planning to head straight home, you can forget about folding them back into their carry bags properly.
