There is so many ways to play on this Garage the video does not do it justice, but it gives you some ideas. Also for me who knows that boys are kinda fighting of everething is a toy where brought my children playing nicely toghether! They have to be specific weight and size for jumping in to the tunnel and going through the loop after we pull the lever.
The garage itself is well made and sturdy once it is complete and we have found it simple to operate. My 4 year old son loves this giant car garage - its got tonnes of features to keep him busy, from the multi-level parking areas on each side, to the tune-up and car wash area at the bottom, to the mechanical, self powering car lift and of course the massive loop the loop car race game in the middle. We can't quite get the hang of the levered launcher, and our cars often fly off the loop as a result.I’m a mom of a little dude and also an educator, translator, proofreader, content creator, musician, blogger… wearing many shoes, working for two, and enjoying life with my smart, cheeky kiddo. The bonus for me - It is storing all the cars that were lying in wait in every room for me to step on.
Push the manual elevator to the top of the garage and release a car down the ramp to tempt the hungry shark. If anyone owns this, would they possibly be willing to take a picture of the bottom of the base with the cover plate under the launcher handle removed?
The lever you pull to release the cars and send them flying round the loop the loop is extremely loud. Featuring parking for 90+ cars, kids can rev their engines and pull back the launcher to take on the biggest double-lane loop in Hot Wheels City - while avoiding the shark attack! Build Quality is almost Child Proof but the Plastics used could do to be a little more Shatterproof! This makes the cars go on the parking deck with that number instead of race down into the loop or on the second track, past the loop to the bottom.
It comes in lots of parts and does take a while to get it fully completed and once you do be warned it is enormous!The plastic construction seems sufficiently tough, though the launcher pushers look a bit vulnerable. The lift that runs up the left hand side can be stopped to park an incredible number of cars (the set just comes with 2 so there's plenty more to be added in out of existing or new collections), at the top of the lift the cars set off down a steep ramp with a drop section which is fun to see if they can survive and make the landing.
The set can also be combined with other Hot Wheels track sets as well as anything else that comes into your child's imagination. While Carbon-Zinc batteries may work well with low-power devices, they can drain after a short period of time and cause certain products to not function properly.
Only reviews that feature the label "Verified Review" have been checked to ensure that the author actually used or purchased the product. It was fixable, but we had to unclip the blue tower from the base plate to do so, and that meant other bits started disengaging from the tower. My Son has quite a few Hot Wheels sets including another massive garage set but apparently this one is cooler because it has the shark and I must admit I can't disagree as the shark popping up in the middle of the garage is a pretty cool idea.
