I have to say that I am in love with New Balance 's Trufuse cushioning system with that double compound Acteva Lite and Abzorb, which favor soft, light and durable footsteps. New runners looking for a neutral trainer may want to check out the 880v12 thanks to its more traditional geometry, softer Fresh Foam X, and comfortable yet secure upper. I appreciate the simplicity of the shoe and while it’s not dynamic by any means it is a solid daily trainer that I have been lacing up for long cruising runs or recovery days. What I did not like: After using it for about 2 months, I could visibly see how much the sole has worn out.
