There was romance, comedy, small town vibes, Grumpy/sunshine, suspense, mystery, lovable characters, and amazing plot!

There are wonderful, small-town gossipy folks, tight-knit to the core, that made the town seem like a character of its own. The only thing was with Remi, Brick couldn’t help himself with either wanting her so badly that he tried to distance himself from her , he felt like his world was turned upside, and he also craved her attention. This story gave me everything I could ask for and more, with the storyline encompassing an element of drama that kept me wondering, albeit a little predictable all would end well ( it’s a rom com) I still felt the tension gripping me.

They had a brilliant frenemies vibe happening and I loved the tension, animosity, and verbal sparring.

A moody stoic H who loved the h but felt he wouldn’t be good enough for her so kept himself at arms distance emotionally. So wrap up warm, grab a hot chocolate and take the ferry across to the island……it doesn’t disappoint.

I did promise her we would start a relationship and then fled our hometown instead of talking to her again. So instead of TALKING TO HER, he assumes all she wants is sex, despite the fact that she had been in love with him for YEARS and HE was the one jumping her bones every minute!
