Because a release doesn't have to be perfect to be definitive it just has to be better then its competition. The steelbooks just have the best audio options while also being one of the cheapest ways to own the series as with proper planing they end up costing around 15 dollars each which is less then half what the uk import would cost while probably being easier to resell.The set not only houses (relatively) new transfers of the series, it also houses them on a collectable art I know it's not a perfect dub much like how it isn't a perfect product in of itself from a technical and production aspect (That's mostly on Toei's part of course) but between the original Z dub and Remastered and the former i'll take it every time. Some of the Faulconer Productions music has been changed from the original, most notably Episode 70 "Frieza Approaches".

Incredible how they manage to avoid doing a perfect remaster that respects the aspect ratio, the details, the story etc.

Moori's voice is still Mark Britten when Guru dies again and during his stay at Capsule Corporation. It would have been really nice to see some new sleeves and discs to differentiate this set from the last one, perhaps with the same orange colour as the outer case. The latter's line asking Yajirobe if he's okay after his skycar is destroyed is replaced with "Hey mister, are you okay? Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? This is likely just going to be yet another repackage of the 30th anniversary discs, but with Crunchyroll's branding on the covers and before the main menus.

It's necessary to point out that only sound effects originally added by the dub have been removed, so it has no missing sound effects that the Japanese version has. I'm going to wait for the remasters of DB and DBZ from AB Studio in France, My DVD collectors boxset did not disappoint and i know the blu-rays will be remastered with care. Because Yamucha says the next dimension like once and I remember Vegeta sounding like modern Sabet then early Sabet between certain lines. One of Krillin's lines in the aforementioned episode has a different take used as is one of Gohan's.Definitely, Crunchyroll could have at least reinstated the Japanese title cards and next episode previews from the GT single DVDs. The limited edition box set will contain the entire 291 episode series as well as a hardback artbook and 11-inch grandista Goku figure.
