Unfortunately, it’s clear the Latitude 5420 is built for companies that often don’t even purchase laptops but instead lease them on contract. Matt often flies the virtual skies in Microsoft Flight Simulator and is on a quest to grow the perfect heirloom tomato. We measured the idle values under the "Optimized" Dell fan control profile and the load values under the "Ultra Performance" profile. Since it not only lacks Thunderbolt, but also comes with an even darker display, we do not recommend the ProBook 440.
