I wanted to love it SO BADLY because I was taking it with me as my read on my trip to Italy, but ultimately, the amount of things I liked and disliked were about the same. There are quite a few different tropes woven into it, such as forced proximity and enemies to lovers, and it was a wonderful romcom that I would definitely watch if it were made into a movie. Rome offers Violet the opportunity to finally let go of her past, discover her passion, find genuine friendship, and embrace the love she deserves, and readers will root for her on every step of this empowering journey.

Nothing feels better to me than when you crack open a book and it grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let you go! When she lands a summer internship at an up-and-coming fashion brand in Rome, she knows she’s got to bring her A game. Thank you so much to NetGalley, Graydon House Publishing and Kate Bromley for allowing me access to an ARC of this novel in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. Violet, dying to escape this increasingly painful situation, takes her leave when her friend and fellow internship winner Marco appears. She still misses her ex-boyfriend, the same man she changed cities for, but she's concentrating on her A-game to create killing designs to find her dream job in the fashion industry.

They even realize they enjoy each other's company - actually, they enjoy it more than they expected! She was a preschool teacher for seven years and is now focusing full-time on combining her two great passions – writing swoon-worthy love stories and making people laugh. We've made the conscious decision for aesthetic and environmental reasons to print on matte instead of shiny card. Ciao for Now was an absolute delight to read from start to finish, but a quick warning: This book will make you hungry for pasta, a vacation in Rome, and a lot of steamy romance. I loooooove books set in Italy, so when I saw the title of Ciao for Now my eyebrows immediately shot up and I was interested.

She’s like the opposite of Miranda Priestly, with her brightly colored flowing dresses, her bubbly enthusiasm, and her propensity to rain showers of compliments and affection down on everyone around her. I also loved the focus on fashion and despite this being a romance, it is also about Violet's journey and how she pursues her passion for design. This extremely swoon-worthy, engaging, inspirational romcom is absolutely one of my favorite works by Kate Bromley!

I also loved hanging out with Violet and her endearing classmates as they interned in the fashion world. Or I should clarify that what you think will be success and what you achieve and the journey to get there.
