About this deal

Overall I would recommend this book highly to anyone who enjoys cooking (and eating) spicy vegan and vegetarian food, with the caveat that you might need to plan ahead to source some of the ingredients. Even if you don’t do the cooking at home, you may well have had a brush with Anna Jones: if your plate is without meat, she’s probably behind it. Award-winning cook Anna Jones blazes the trail again for how we all want to cook now: quick, sustainably and stylish. These super varied every night recipes celebrate vegetables and deliver knock-out flavour but without taking time and energy.

Just reading the title of the recipe makes you excited about cooking it - the presentation is outstanding as well. Really it is the book I would leave if I ran a villa, airbnb or similar where a party of people might be happy to prepare and feast on expensive, time-consuming but largely delicious dishes. I have been trying to find an authentic recipe for this since I heard about Syrian yoghurt-baked orzo from a friend. In a pan, cook the rhubarb and sugar for 2 minutes, until the juices turn the sugar into a pink syrup but the rhubarb still holds its crunch. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. Everything I've made has been delicious, and it's perfect if you want quick, tasty, healthy, minimal-hassle meals. It’s true to say that Anna Jones always delivers: reading any recipe of hers is like receiving a promise of dependable deliciousness.

In this exciting new collection of over 200 simple recipes, Anna Jones limits the pans and simplifies the ingredients for all-in-one dinners that keep things fast and easy. We are used to jars of the bright yellow ground stuff, with its earthy flavour, but if you can get it use fresh turmeric. Then add the broccoli stalks, drained noodles and 6 tablespoons of water and cook for 3-4 minutes until the broccoli stems are tender and the noodles are beginning to cook and crisp up. It's also healthy and nutritionally balanced, with lots of veg, a range of protein sources, and none of the over-processed, nutritionally-poor fake meats that seem to dominate vegan/vegetarian cooking at the moment.Add the chillies and cook for another couple of minutes until everything in the pan is soft and fragrant. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the brownies are just set with a little wobble and the almond butter swirls are golden. Arrange the apple halves cut side up on top of the batter, brush with some of the ginger syrup, then sprinkle over the demerara sugar and the remaining teaspoon of ground ginger.
