I loved getting the background on the staff heading to work at JFK as well as the flight crew as they get their assignments. It’s something that happens to you, an accindent of circumstance, and you become a hero without ever meaning to.

As I mentioned in the opening of this review, there is definitely a blockbuster screen feel to this book and as a result, I could easily imagine it playing out in movie theatres. However, the drama of the lives of the supporting characters really brings entertainment to this book. I loved that we got POVs from different characters involved in this story – it should have been difficult to keep the characters straight in my mind; but with the simple writing style of the author, it was not only easy but also quite easy to be invested in the characters’ lives.
