I have played many murder mystery games over the years, and it is always a great excuse to have a bit of a fun get together. invitations include event details and individual character assignments with history (I also included a cast sheet that I created on my own accord so everyone would know who was playing who and some people were meeting for the first time.

Recently, gangsters from the north and south have been spotted together at various speakeasies throughout Chicago, but the tension in the air is always thick enough to be cut with a knife. The game is well structured into rounds that find out initial information and then concentrate on such things as motive and opportunity.

The download was easy and quick and everyone got really into the game, with what limited supplies we had being used to make props!

I recently purchased the Replay-able 1920s Murder Mystery Game for a group of 20 adults and was impressed with the overall experience. I used a collection of my mom’s and my vintage serving pieces, added candlesticks, and a flower arrangement and the whole table looked grand! Would highly recommend sending the packs to people a few days before like the instructions say – gives everyone lots of time to get into character.

if you are going to do the between round games (which I recommend) the tommy gun challenge was hysterical.

But if you do want to make a huge party of it and have the time to set up and conduct the party, then this game is one of the few that I have seen that is capable of expanding to such limits. I asked if I could bring in vintage glassware–a combination of my own and my mother’s–to serve drinks in. Take a trip back in time to the Roaring 20's - a time of flappers, gangsters, prohibition and speakeasies. Our story is set in 1922, two years after Charles Ponzi ran his notorious dodgy investment scheme in New York and this features in the story. Through this interesting story we take guest back to this more elegant yet less forgiving time, and it is all done with our usual sense of fun and plenty of interaction with the actors.

The dialogue was a bit repetitive in nature and because it was written in a script format it made it a little difficult to follow the overall development of the plot because you had to pay close attention to when it was your turn in the script but it was fun. i've been a murder mystery party host forever and once I found this company, I've never looked back.
