About this deal

I’ve read that for some people the pump has been faulty, leaving them unable to get into the product (this is VERY common feedback). Recently I’ve picked up the Kosas Tinted Face Oil (ed note: it was recently when I started writing this blogpost in November, whoops), and I wanted to see how it compared to two of my favorite skin tints: the Milk Makeup Sunshine Skin Tint and the Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint.

This does claim to have SPF in it, but you should not be relying on a skin tint or a foundation to get your SPF. I applied it with my Corazona foundation brush and used just some simple everyday primers that work well with anything. Grapeseed, Avocado, Mandarin, Jojoba, and Olive Oils, which help moisturize the skin for a dewy, glowing finish. For any content that you submit, you grant Space NK a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or sell and/or distribute such content and/or incorporate such content into any form, medium or technology throughout the world without compensation to you. It's also got the highest SPF content I've ever seen in a foundation which is really why I bought it. In terms of finish, weartime, blendability and everything around it, I absolutelly love this skin tint. I’ve noticed if my skin is not exfoliated and moisturized properly, the Kosas will show dryness, while the Milk just glides over and hides this. The Glossier has the least coverage of the three by far - this has just a whisper of coverage, just offering a sheer veil of color to gently even out the skin.

If you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to subscribe to my blog, it would mean the world to me! It does a pretty good job at covering redness, though you would have to apply concealer for redness to disappear completely (though that is to be expected). I’ve seen a lot of buzz on line already for the Sunshine Skin Tint SPF30, and nothing yet for the Pigment Chalk. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. I don’t have any complaints about the packaging (because luckily it does work for me) but it seems like quite a round about way of applying the product. This just made me look like someone spilled oil on my face :( I tried it with powder and it didn’t make much difference as soon after the shine and oiliness was back. as an oily girl I really thought this product would be too much for me but its the total opposite, it lasted all day long and looked beautiful the colour didn't oxidise at all, the coverage is very sheer yet I found it was buildable. But sometimes I judge a product by it’s cover (packaging) and that was definitely the case with Milk Makeup.

I’d say it’s a step above typical light coverage - maybe on par with something like the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation.

Infused with moisturising powerhouse ingredients such as jojoba, avocado and grapeseed oils to hydrate your skin, the hardworking tinted formula also protects from UV damage (we've got the coral reef-safe broad-spectrum SPF 30, to thank for that). I’d say the Glossier lasts the longest on me, followed by Kosas, and then the shortest wear time is Milk. However, four hours into my shift and it had oxidised into big orange patches, stuck to dry patches I didn’t know I had, made me look old and wrinkly (I’m 26, so not quite there yet) and all my redness was back in a big way.
