About this deal

Blades and attachments can be changed quickly without the use of tools, and you’ll get a 29-piece accessory kit to get you started – this includes a 31 x 43mm fast cut wood blade, a 31 x 43mm wood with nails blade, a sanding pad, 25 assorted sanding sheets and a universal blade adaptor. We know that as a tool anyway, purely because of the nature of the tool, great for plumbers, cutting pipes, trimming holes for pipes.

The Quick-Change accessory system allows you to change blades quickly and easily, and with the universal accessory adaptor, it's compatible with most oscillating tool accessories. Really easy to use and pretty powerful for the size, it's does use the batteries pretty quick if using for a long time. The reason I didn’t give the tool a five star rating is because the battery is starting to loosen in the battery casing and that’s with all of my DeWalt 18v batteries. The quick blade change arrangement is such a time saver, I have been used to a cheaper corded thing that I had to use an alan key every time to swop blades.P>These 18V brushless oscillating multi-tools from DeWalt deliver up to 57% more run time over the brushed motor, and also come with a quick-change accessory system that allow blades and attachments to be changed without the use of tools. Like I've already said, second fixing, chopping boxes in plaster board and walls, cables left in there for you, very useful for that. We've found it very useful on retrofit of decorative material, skirting and coving, also for general cuts or grinding down of wood or metal etc when face on. One fault with it is when your using it for a short period of time a hot spot forms on the back of the handle and becomes irritating to use.

thi shoes come with a sander attachment that I’ve used only a few times yes it’s only a detail sander so don’t expect it to flat walls back . Used them all, Bosch, makita, fein and the dewalt packs some real power considering how light and compact it is, Nice and easy to control aswell, unlike others that are way to powerful and leave you with cut marks everywhere other than what you want to cut! They work with all the other tools available, 18 volt this is in particular, brush disk motor, LED light on it, all the batteries have got indicators on them to show you how much power's left. I’m sure most other brands are good but I’ve had this for a while now and it is still just as good the day I bought it.Simply subscribe at MyDEWALT, and follow the instructions to register your product and add it to your Tool Overview within 4 weeks of purchase. Excellent tool I couldn't be without this multi tool, made to last and beats other brand multi tool's hands down. The best multi tool I have used, ease to use, soft touch application just increase press to increase speed, we'll vented. I've used this for cutting into wood door frames, cutting plasterboard walls and chopping cooper pipe. Unlike multi tools of other brands I have used, this cuts well and seems to have all the power needed for the applications I’ve needed it for.

Festool were just as good I'd day, but I've yet to find a stacking box that performs as well as that. The only two negatives I can think of are that it could do with a lock off to stop it sawing through the other tools when I just throw it in my tool bag like a Neanderthal at the end of a job. Didn't they no there could be much difference between multi tools, had a 240v before and this goes through any material with ease! Although I was impressed with my previous unit, the DeWalt unit made it look silly, the power and accuracy was 10 times better and was easy to use for long periods, took a while to get used to the variable trigger speed as my old one had a constant speed selector but this was soon second nature and actually made the job easier. Whether you're a professional tradesperson or a DIY enthusiast, Dewalt tools and accessories, including those in the FlexVolt and 18VXR series, are built to meet the demands of every project.I use it for taking up floorboards, cutting our socket boxes in plasterboard, I even have a Dimond blade for cutting out sockets/ channels in plaster and breeze block. The second is it’s got some serious vibrations on it, so be prepared if you’re using it for any period of time.
