About this deal

Rizzoli knows they need to protect this young woman, but it’s only tangentially connected to her murder case, isn’t it? It is told from three different points of view: Jane, Angela, and a young woman named Amy who was the victim of a hit and run.

Sofia Suarez, a widow and nurse who was universally liked by all her neighbors, lies bludgeoned to death in her own home. die ersten Werke sind toll und dann lässt irgendwie wann die Qualität stark nach, weil die Figuren auserzählt sind oder die Autorinnen nicht mehr wissen, wie sie noch Spannung erzeugen sollen.

Gerritsen proves that this series is back and deserves more added to it, with a thirteenth book offering up a long-awaited gem. You’re provided with plenty of information and background on the characters as to not feel you’re missing anything. It appears that unsmiling new neighbors are a low priority for Jane, and Angela decides she may just have to take things into her own hands. With very little clues to go by, except a stolen laptop and phone, Detective Rizzoli must piece together the various forensic evidence to solve the murder mystery.

A recent widow, she was transitioning to a new life alone, but has now been found brutally murdered in her home. Their enquiries lead them to Amy Antrim, a young student seriously injured in a hit and run accident months before, whose father is an acquaintance of Maura’s.Tess Gerritsen has a great style in writing this series and manages to weave together what seems like unrelated crimes seamlessly. I was thrilled to be approved to read the latest instalment in one of my favourite crime-thriller series!

As an anthropology student at Stanford University, she catalogued centuries-old human remains, and she continues to travel the world, driven by her fascination with ancient cultures and bizarre natural phenomena. While having read the other books in the series is recommended because they are so good, it isn’t necessary and you could also enjoy it as a standalone. But, when it all came together, it was somewhat underwhelming and pretty standard and straightforward, with unnecessary subplots that had nothing to do with anything. Wirklich nervtötend sind aber die Angela, die ohnehin anstrengende Mutter von Jane Rizzoli, aus ihrer Perspektive erzählt. The story opens as college student Amy Antrim is run down and nearly killed by a hit-and-run driver, leaving her dependent upon a cane to walk.I’m a fan of the narrator and she was particularly great at capturing the spirit of Angela Rizzoli who had the biggest voice in this story. This unbiased review is from an uncorrected proof copy provided by NetGalley and Random House UK Transworld. Jane is eye rolling her way through the ordeal with a REAL murder to solve - and this one is a head scratcher. I have loved coming back to see these two again, they take me back to a time when I first started reading thrillers! Jane and her patner, are investigating the murder of Sofia Suarez, a widowed nurse who was liked by neighbors and co-workers.
