About this deal

Singers sound clear and take a prominent role in the music, without overruling instruments or other frequencies. Today, we’ll review the Edifier X3 true wireless earbuds – the brand’s entry-level earbuds catered to consumers looking for products that offer the most bang for one’s buck.

But, as Edifier dropped the ultra-compact case of the original and replaced it with a round, pebble-like case 1,5 times the size, it must be the number of recharges from the case that made a real jump, right?Update June 22: The more I compare the Edifier X3 with other wireless earphones, the more the bass section stands out. The earbuds also have small holes for the microphones and an LED status light that lights up when the earbuds are charging in the charging case, allowing you to check if the earbuds have connected to your device. By following the sound, it is easy to determine the enemy's position, launch an accurate counterattack, and secure victory. However, as you increase the volume, you will be able to hear some bass creeping in – thankfully, the Edifier X3 gets plenty loud.

Each bud has an IP55 waterproof rating which means they are ok for use in the rain but shouldn’t be submerged in water. When listening to music with lots of instruments, the X3 was able to separate them so you can listen to them all in the music. There is some delay in the sound when you're playing games, as is the case with almost all wireless earphones.

The Edifier X3s bass gives a nice thump that can pulsate in your ears and delivers enough power to pump up the music. At first this doesn't sound like anything unusual, however if the case has run out of charge, but the buds are inside it, they are still paired to the phone. The X3s has a more prominent mid-bass and lower-mids are a tad more boosted, making the TWS1 Pro sound a bit thinner in comparison - even though its bass is more detailed.

Featuring 24 hours of total playback time; 6 hours continuous streaming on the earbuds, with a further 18 provided via the charging case, high fidelity aptX audio decoding, and CVC8. The new version offers 8 instead of 6 hours of playtime on a single charge, adds volume controls, and comes with a fantastic gaming mode that reduces the delay in sound effects much better than the X3 and many other competitors.

The charging pod smaller than most, very easy to use as magnets pull the buds into the correct position.

We’ve become great fans of Edifier after trying out the Edifier NeoBuds Pro a couple of months back. Here at The Tech Revolutionist, we go deep into technology to look at how things work, and how it affects the society today. The earphone can be continuously used for 6hrs and can be recharged 3 times with the charging box, i. Background noise like accelerating scooters and trains and people talking are audible, but they're recognisable as background sound, and your voice is separated well from them.

The tips aren't the most comfortable, but they block quite a bit of outside noise and the earbuds are very grippy with their bump on the inside. They don't seem to be marked L and R, but if you get confused, popping them back in the pod will tell you which is which - they only fit one way, and the pod is labelled. chipset ensures more stable transmission and aptX™ audio decoding provides CD-level sound quality with a code rate as high as 352kbps. The charging case will offer an extra 18 hours of listening time before it has to be recharged, giving you a total of 24 hours of listening time. If older recordings have white noise underneath them, the M13 reduces it better than the Edifier, and the Mpow bass is more engaging with tighter thumps and fuller mid-bass slams.
