This is the second book I've read of this author and I just wanted to say that if you want a book that gives you emotional whiplash this is it. He plans on stripping Luce of her title as CEO of Peery Diamonds, which is so fucked up since he knows she loves her company.This was definitely a cute read Sebastian was possessive over lucienne since the start and the way he protected her against everyone including her own family claiming he hated her was the best. I really enjoyed their connection and what a great team they make together (tennis match is a prime example) and I loved the whole mystery behind the one trying to divide them and their business interests.

I went from loathing a character that doesn't even exist on this planet to crying my heart out into my pillow. Her dad said he needed to teach Luce how to share since Luce’s grandpa will give her his inheritance. Eleven years have passed, and Luce has grown into a wonderful independent woman running her family business as CEO, but she has run into some complications.Delivering image after image with panache, she fulfils every commission (not to mention her personal work) with magnetism. Luce asks if Sebastian asked the Korean company for the joint venture to ask for Gabriella to be their model.

It was actually kind of depressing, and I felt sorry for her: family/friends near and dear and not so dear betray her. I felt for her seriously throughout the book, and then she's hit with two horrid betrayals but she doesn't fall apart.
