About this deal

Du Beke has also appeared in a number of Children in Need and Christmas Specials of Strictly Come Dancing. The staff still have to smile and keep the guests happy, but behind the scenes they are all fearful, and uncertain of their futures. Each book can be read as a standalone story, but they do indeed form a series, set in those tumultuous years leading up to the outbreak of World War II. Strictly star Anton Du Beke ready and waiting for Southport Flower Show – win a champagne tea with him! ANTON DU BEKE household name and all-round entertainer brings the charm and style he's famous for to his writing.

According to Zaffre, the novel sold over 28,000 copies in hardback, 26,000 in paperback and 10,000 e-books. It’s comparatively easy to get swept up in the fortunes and misfortunes of these characters lives, to find yourself hoping for the best but sadly on occasion fearing the worst. Raymond De Guise is on leave from the army after Dunkirk and the distance between himself and his wife, Nancy seems to be growing. In March 2007 Du Beke was a contestant on the BBC Two series The Underdog Show and was paired with homeless dog Ginger.I loved the way he brings his love of dancing in as the main focus to start with and then with the beginning of WWII how it then becomes jeopardized as the staff and dancers go off to war but still runs right through the book. I loved getting to know the characters and despite not having read the others, it didn’t hinder me too much. The book was full of surprises and made for a very good read, full of characters to become fond off and full of life both happy and sad.

I liked how the links made with ballroom dancing were made through the ballroom dancers that were left to carry on dancing for the hotel clients. One Enchanted Evening’… ‘Moonlight Over Mayfair’… ‘A Christmas To Remember’ – all are available in hardback and paperback from your favourite book seller – and in kindle and audiobook formats, too. This was my first introduction to Anton Du Beke’s writing, having normally been accustomed to watching him on my television screen during the Autumn months dancing and judging away, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

He was the toast of the Buckingham Hotel's Grand Ballroom, and is going to host One Grant Night to raise much needed money for the war effort. Was a good contrast read from my usual (thriller) books, if you like this genre you will enjoy this. To accompany the launch of my novel, I’m also excited to let you know that there will be a ‘book tour’… with a difference.

This series has been such a joy to read, this is book 4 in the series and it was lovely to be back in the story with all the characters again. However I confess the lure of the celebrity name gracing the front cover was strong enough for me to take a gamble and whilst I’m not a fan of joining a series midway through I didn’t realise this is book number four until I started reading. Raymond de Guise, home on leave and still affected by the death of his brother, is desperate to help so he joins a night watch. I acc really enjoyed this fav one of the series so far, rlly hooked me in loved the story lines and stuff that focused more on background characters in other books, billy and his girl was interesting that whole story line and Cathy as well bit dark which makes a change a nice one tho, very good sad in some places but good sad for some things I won’t say as don’t want to ruin but would recommend looking forward to the next one coming out now.Overall I have enjoyed this series and I have already bought the next book from this author for his next series. The hotel doors keep revolving, the housemaids continue to turn down the guests beds, the orchestra strikes up the next tune and yes you’ve guessed it the dancers keep dancing! The characterisations are so well written and draw you into the story, difficult to put the book down. We’ll Meet Again’ will also be released as an audiobook, date to be confirmed – stay tuned for news on that, along with the cover reveal too – you can imagine how eager I am to see it! With profiteers skulking the London streets, and devious rivals plotting the Buckingham's downfall, the hotel staff must all hold onto what matters most- and decide where their loyalties truly lie.
