I think it's insane how different the notes are, yet the smell is so close to the two this is compared to. I obtained a mini of this scent a few months back in response to an online reviewer touting it as an inexpensive freshie, but gave it away before trying it, so I bought a full bottle, and I shouldn't have. This fragrance sits closer to the skin and doesn't project as much, making it more suitable for office situations. This is not my favorite scent, maybe it has a bit too much lavender for my taste, however, this has gotten more compliments than anything else I have.

This is wonderful fragrance for spring / summer and it does reminds me a lot to PR Invictus on steroids. This is the perfect bridge scent for an older guy afraid to step away from his 80's or 90's fougères into something contemporary, and just a nice refinement on a popular ubiquitous style that makes it feel less-so because of it. Comparisons aside, this is a great fresh scent with a sweet twist that none of my other "freshies" have. Its opening is citric and marine, it smells of orange with a slightly salty sensation, but quite fresh. The sensuous dry-down blend of sandalwood, oakwood, birch, patchouli and musk round out this aromatic, woody Eau de Parfum.To me this IS overhyped, very much so but it is definitely also a decent alternative to Chanel AHS and smells frankly quite similar, much better presentation too.

Bold and stimulating, woody facets of oak and patchouli warm the base, creating a dry down that is deeply masculine and sophisticated. l was smiling ear to ear because this straight-up smells like a mix between bleu de Chanel EDT and the EDP and a touch of the soapy Dylan blue vibe in the background. It definitely opens strong with grapefruit and lemon, ginger, jasmine and a little bit of apple in the middle and birch in the base.If you are looking for a nice, calming, inoffensive everyday wear fragrance that resembles a little to BDC EDT without the incense then this is it. Classic spring/summer freshie, but I believe could be worn all year, especially in a climate controlled environment. If you want a great wearable scent that is very hard to dislike for most people who smell you then you could do so much worse than Missoni Wave, What more do you want.In the UK right now its pretty cold and wet and this fragrance still lasts around 7hrs on my skin in these conditions so I look forward to seeing how well it performs in the summer. The citrusy side subsides pretty quickly while the aromatic side of it rises - a rather soapy lavander with a pungent note which may be well a very strong concentration of ginger coming through. Following a lengthy absence from the male market, the maison has joined forces with us to create something unquestionably masculine. The bottle is super impressive once you have it in your hand, very sturdy hard glass with different colors tint, i can see red tint on this side and green tint on the other side, magnetic metal that feels heavy and screams quality. Have also Tag Him by Armaf, they are very very close to each other, just Missoni is little bit more citrusy, birchy, slightly more complex than the spicy-woody and more basic Tag Him.
