About this deal

An excellent addition to any household, the premium Marshall speaker is bound to impress whether you're listening at your own leisure or entertaining guests. And, when challenged with some electronic music, it proved itself a party starter – MSTRKRFT’s It Aint Love, with its runaway arpeggios and robotic bass line, felt like there was a crooning Transformer in the room. The multi-host functionality allows you to connect with and switch between two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, great for taking turns with friends.

You'll have to walk up to the speaker every time to adjust the volume (unless you can do that from the Marshall app).He loves gaming, but don't expect him to play with you unless your console is hooked up to a 4K HDR screen and a 7. Previously he was the Executive Editor for TechRadar, taking care of the site's home cinema, gaming, smart home, entertainment and audio output. For a few years now the Marshall brand has been branching out away from its live amp gig gear and studio comfort zone, and into the home speaker space with its Acton, Stanmore and Woburn speakers, and its Marshall Major headphones.

Having a speaker that looks like this and could also play nicely with your own guitar shredding would be fantastic, and give a truly unique feature to brand’s Bluetooth line. The sub-bass synth hits that punctuate the beat are delivered with serious power here, and at top volume they don't distort. On Jay-Z and Kanye West's "No Church in the Wild," the kick drum loop receives enough high-mid presence in default mode for its attack to retain its punchiness, but dialing up the treble knob a bit gives it that extra sharp kick that we are used to hearing. Orchestral tracks, like the opening scene from John Adams' The Gospel According to the Other Mary, sound magical through the Woburn II Bluetooth. This speaker combines contemporary technology with iconic Marshall design to deliver hard-hitting sound while retaining a classic look.

The largest speaker from Marshall, Woburn II features a robust sound and hits high trebles cleanly, handles low bass with ease and has a clear, lifelike mid range. With optimised onboard technology for an impressive connection at all times and the ability to fine-tune your sound to your listening preference via the top control panel, the Woburn is the perfect purchase for any household! The Bluetooth standard used here supports multi-host Bluetooth, letting you connect two devices at once, saving squabbles between friends over who gets to play what.
