The Klipsch R-51PM Powered Monitor Speakers are designed to connect to any virtually source without the need for an amplifier. Like many powered bookshelf speakers today, the R-51PM features a right speaker that works as the master and a left speaker that’s simply connected by speaker wire. I do not know what a new Mark mixer is but I have the speakers connected to a Yamaha amplifier and they were great and I love them. My question is, would getting passive speakers like the R-50M (that is the newer version of the R-51M right?
