It smells better than the drydown on the skin that only smells good after a long time, which is weird. The only problem I have with the batch in my possesion, is that the longevity is lacking compared to some other fragrances I own.

From the scent profile, the quality of ingredients, the way this is blended, the bottle, the cap, and the company behind this fragrance. Its possible I got a bad batch as I do have the newer bottle (I heard it was not reformulated though with the newer bottle?As the scent progresses, you'll notice a rich and warm middle that has an enigmatic aroma of juniper berries. The only thing that may have changed is the boozy element seems more emphasized in the all clear new bottles which i don't mind at all. It had a similar natural almond vibe to one million lucky which seemed to pair up great with the cherry. While fragrance is subjective, this one is a true masterpiece at the balance of a sweet/masculine fragrance.

This is where the leather is the main note but by this time the leather/vetiver is very light on the skin. Honestly, I was hoping that I recieved a fake based on all of the reviews here but it appears as though it's just the new formulation in the new packaging. The opening is citrusy and aromatic followed by the prominent note of almond (which I love) accompanied by the warmth of the tonka bean giving way to a woody background becoming even more sensual on the dry down. I guess I just tend to reach for this most often when I want to be close with someone, for when a compliment is more than just words. I remember smelling an original sample of this a few years ago and being struck by how strong this was.Guerlain, founded in 1828 by Pierre-François Pascal Guerlain in Paris, has the richest history in the fragrance world. If you dont mind any of the notes i dislike,i suggest you to go for it,for around 75 EU its a fair deal. My signature perfume that I want to smell constantly and never get bored for years, this perfume is timeless, you can always wear it even when you go to bed. i´m going to end with this nice hobby if these companies continue with these awful non-innovative marketing strategies .

I would only rate a scent with a "zero" if it really stinks or if it contains plain water in the flask. In the heart, cinnamon and plum notes escort the heliotrope, a floral note with elegant almond accents. This one definitely draws compliments but most importantly I have grown to see what is so special about this fragrance. In the final stage of this composition, the rugged manliness is sealed by the enchanting aroma of cedarwood, coupled with the sharp notes of vetiver.

It is great for the people like me who are bored of being smelled like a piece of wood and citruses squeezed on it. He makes his own way, is sweet but temperamental, somewhat rough around the edges, comfortable in an upscale bar but doesn’t leave his leather jacket too far away. Warm, nutty and a well blended cherry vanilla rose blend it resta on leather and sandalwood ignited by a faint accord of tonka .

The EDT smells great, although I think I prefer the EDP as I detected more leather and appreciated the cherry note. I consider this EDT superior to the otherwise beloved EDP, since I find the cherry in that other formulation renders the composition unnecessarily heavy.It's similar to Armani Code, so if you are a fan of that fragrance, you'd likely have some natural affinity to this one. Although there's no cherry note it really comes off like a wild cherry pepsi or similar type fragrance. I’m still very intrigued by the edp tho as I love the idea of cherries in a fragrance, which is pretty rare. If you haven't already, definitely familiarize yourself with this niche house with designer pricing. I have the older formulation with the mauve cap; the bottle and atomizer are very high quality along with the juice.
