About this deal

I don’t get either of those from it— I think it smells like good salon shampoo and like a tropical cocktail on a nice summery day in the South. Upon first spray it does smell VERY sharp in a way which makes my nose itch but after a few minutes that itch goes away but on my skin it takes an hour or so for it to smell nice as within the first hour I think it smells cheap and like a cleaning product, after a few hours it does remind me slightly of a cheap version of jadore as another reviewer said when the smell softens down. Due to my everlasting love of Britney's Believe, I finally decided to try another one of her scents, and so I blind bought a 100 ml bottle of this since it was so cheap, and seemed appealing. It smells like stepping outside on a sunny April or May afternoon: the flowers blooming and the grass growing green again. It's not my most favorite perfume in my collection, but it's also somehow different than most of my other perfumes I have, so for that reason I'll likely be keeping it. I wore it for the first time in a few months yesterday and I'm not sure if the juice has gone a little sour in my bottle or if my nose has changed, but its not how I remember it at all. The only reason I don't wear it more often is because I don't want it to lose it's nostalgia and magic!

I remember my older cousin having this and it had the atomiser and it used to sit on her dressing table and whenever she would spray it It would fill the room with this lush floral smelling shampoo aroma that I use to crave. Which was why, at eight years old, I was so overjoyed to receive the shimmer stick version of Curious for Christmas. Britney's name is attached to it and this came out in 2004 when not every celebrity had a fragrance line. I wouldn't normally go for florals as I find they can be a bit basic and/or dated (I'm more of a fruity or gourmand fan) but this one has a very unique quality which I like. When wearing it, I can picture myself in Louisiana, relaxing on swinging seat, under a huge shady tree.Didn't feel that refreshed after I've sprayed it though, sometimes I genuinely wondered if the scent of ’nature’ would've been better than this. The magnolia and tuberose are are strong in this one and have never been favorites of mine but the vanilla, jasmine. Curious doesn't smell expensive to me but it's a more interesting and more well-put-together than j'adore is.

Curious takes the magnolia in a more aquatic, fruity direction with pear but still has a touch of creamy white-floral from tuberose. My skin REALLY pulls out the Jasmine in this so it gives me a headache, but the scent itself if far more floral and mature than I remembered it being when it first came out. If you want a perfume that doesn’t offend anyone and makes you smell clean and aquatic, you would enjoy this.

The scent of what I imagine a country club in Louisiana would smell like with lush southern magnolias, and vanilla florals. Damn… I recently bought this for nostalgic purposes it was one of my favorites back in the day so I recently purchased it and it came yesterday and I can tell you they reformulated tf out of this fragrance. It's a cheapie, but this doesn't smell of poor quality at all, I think it smells like a dead ringer for many designer fragrances on the market. I’m going to put it down to reformulations as it has been passed down from coty to Elizabeth Arden and then Revlon.
