Whereas these days games seem to be made in a generic, purely commercial way, using already established design engines etc. Since it was originally released, the subsequent twenty years has seen many games inspired by Baldur's Gate, and many of those have built upon it and in some ways improved upon it, and so going back can leave you feeling like the game is a little antiquated. This is an abrasive hot pile of garbage that is only recommended by a stereotypical boomer mentality; like fully recommending a car as a 10/10 car, only to find out it breaks down all the time, and when you tell them that it breaks down all the time, they make fun of you for not pushing through having to fix it all the time and being 'entitled' to a product that actually **** works. This will come as a disappointment to players with the last-gen console but the RPG is currently only available on PS5.
