About this deal

Size: With an XL mousepad, you won't have to worry about your mouse running off the edge of the pad during intense gaming sessions. You can also keep your keyboard on the pad, providing a consistent surface for both your keyboard and mouse as well as absorbing those keystrokes. This list is, as we mentioned before, based on what the professionals are using. What you’ll see here is that most pros are using fairly large mouse pads, at least when compared to regular office mats. That’s because the overall sensitivity/ eDPIof pro (shooter) players is way lower than that of most casual gamers. This gives them way more control over their aim and overall just makes for a more consistent and reliable aiming experience when compared to extremely high sensitivities where it’s nearly impossible to make any micro adjustments to the aiming reticle. Even if you feel like you don’t need a large mousepad we would recommend getting one if you have the space for it; it’s always better to have some spare space for your mouse movements than to have to run into the edge of your playing surface in the heat of battle. You might think that you can just use any ol’ mousepad (or even just play on your desk) but that’s not true, at least not for shooter games. In MOBAs (where mouse precision is of less importance) we do see some pros who don’t use a mousepad, but over 99% of professional shooter players are using a gaming mousepad over a regular office pad. Having the right mousepad can be crucial for consistent gameplay and make a huge difference to your performance which can be especially important in fast-paced games where split-second decisions can make all the difference.

Professional shooter gamers might gravitate towards (more controlling) cloth pads, but there are droves of people out there who have a need for speed. If you’re one of those people then you should look at the SkyPAD 3.0. Its smooth surface is just about the fastest you can find out there, and while we certainly wouldn’t recommend this to people who are just finding their footing in the world of gaming mousepads it’s undoubtedly a pad that’s great at what it sets out to do. These days, I am a fan of controlling mousepads. I used to gravitate towards speed a bit more, but with mice becoming a lot lighter and the quality (and speed) of feet improving by leaps and bounds I’ve been moving towards the more controlling side. This pad gives me just enough grip and control when doing small movements and micro adjustments so that I can carry those out with precision, but once I move towards a big swipe there’s nothing of that muddy/sandpaper-like feeling that you often get with control pads. You can use the spudger or knife on its own without using the hairdryer, especially if you're unsure of how long to heat the feet up by. This may leave traces of glue on the bottom of the mouse however, which will need to be removed before attaching the new mouse feet. Finally, once the grip tape is properly applied, use a sharp hobby knife or scissors to trim any excess grip tape from around the edges of your mouse. Trimming the edges gives your mouse a clean and finished look. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Lastly there’s also the fact that a gaming mousepad is generally better for the long term health of your mouse. If you’ve got yourself a shiny new gaming mouseyou don’t want to be sanding down the feet of your mouse by sliding it around on a wooden desk or a plastic cutting board you’ve found in the kitchen, for example.

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error Before applying the grip tape, it is essential to clean your mouse to remove any dirt or oils that may interfere with the grip tape's adhesion. Use a soft cloth and rubbing alcohol to gently clean the surface of your mouse, taking care not to damage the coating. Make sure to remove all the dirt and oil residues, especially around the edges of your mouse. Mostly smooth yet textured surface that focuses on a medium glide speed with adequate stopping powerWith a little preparation and some simple steps, you can enjoy better control and performance like the pros. I know that mousepads are very subjective: we can comment on things like the stitching, surface uniformity, and so on, but when it comes down to it the glide is what matters most, so I won’t say that you needto get this (or any other Lethal Gaming Gear) pad. I will say that this is the best of its kind I’ve tested so far. Once you have removed all the old skates from the base your mouse, give the surface a clean by using rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl). This will remove any excess adhesive that may still be present. Leave the mouse to dry, and then it's time to apply the new ones.

Be careful when using the hairdryer too, as you want to avoid overheating the mouse, which can cause damage to your mouse (plastic melting or warping) and also cause injury to yourself, so proceed with caution. As a little side note: the glide of cloth pads can be affected by a number of factors, including how clean the surface is, the humidity in the air, the age of the pad, and your playing style. As such, your experience with a certain mousepad can be drastically different from what someone else is experiencing. This makes the search for a perfect pad a little bit more difficult, but it’s not as if a control pad is suddenly going to turn into a speed pad or anything like that, so hopefully this guide aids you in your choice. Mousepads come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, and it’s mainly up to you to figure out which one is going to be right for you. All of the pads in this article are going to be doing exactly what they need to do when it comes to sensor performance and what not so it’s mainly a job of figuring out what suits you. If you’re completely unsure we would recommend you to go for a nice middle-of-the-road cloth pad to start out with.
