About this deal

I was babysitting my 5 yr old grand-daughter and she wanted to read Kitchen Disco, which she already had. This book is hilarious and fun, perfect for storytime reading and rapping – there’s even a book trailer to get kids raring to go .

It's great to see each of the bathroom items each getting their own page and the way each item uses the uses of it to its strength in the story is lots of fun like the toothbrush squeezing into it's dance. While some of the objects appeared to have distinct personalities, some spotlighted objects just kinda danced, or the vocabulary used was more like word soup, which felt like a missed opportunity. In this surreal rhyming story, the shiny tiles become a dance floor and the light a sparkling disco ball. From Nobel Laureates Samuel Beckett and Harold Pinter to theatre greats Tom Stoppard and Alan Bennett to rising stars Polly Stenham and Florian Zeller, Faber Drama presents the very best theatre has to offer.

Without even taking into account the fact that a lot of the bathroom products look high as kites, there is no way a young child would understand what's going on.

The vegetables start waking up They stretch and rise and shine - They set up lots of stages, Cos it's VEGGIE PARTY time! The children loved this book and the idea that everything comes to life to have a party when no one is looking.Whilst the Kitchen Disco concentrated on the fruit and vegetables getting down, Bathroom Boogie explores what happens with the shampoo and toothpaste when you are not at home. On the surface all elements are once again present for lightening to strike again; idea, song, pictures. The combination of Foges and Murphy worked wonders in Kitchen Disco and Bathroom Boogie follows the same format. Home to William Golding, Sylvia Plath, Kazuo Ishiguro, Sally Rooney, Tsitsi Dangarembga, Max Porter, Ingrid Persaud, Anna Burns and Rachel Cusk, among many others, Faber is proud to publish some of the greatest novelists from the early twentieth century to today. com/ and I would suggest watching it with your little one so that you can sing-a-long the chorus of the book.
