I enjoy UNO and have actually played several of the other games made by International Games Inc. Most of the games I have played have been pretty solid. Most of the games made by International Games Inc share some elements and have the same general feel to them. This bring me to 5 Alive. 5 Alive is similar to a lot of the other games released by International Games Inc. The last player with an Alive card still face-up wins The nature of the lives system is great too because players can form alliances to help bring down the leader player. It’s a lot of fun.
On your turn you will play one of the cards from your hand to the discard pile. Depending on what card you play, you will take a corresponding action. What starts out as a friendly game soon becomes a fight to lose all your cards as soon as possible without becoming a victim to the 21 at the center of the table. If you play a number card, you will add the number printed on the card to the running total. To start the round the total will start at zero. The first player has played a five to the discard pile. They will announce that the running total is now five.All of the players, other than the player who played the card, have to take two cards from the draw pile. All Wild cards are treated the same as the normal game. If a Bomb card is played, a team could lose multiple Alive cards if more than one player doesn’t have a 0 card.Items that are not available in store will take 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to be delivered to your nominated store. If the card you played was the last card in your hand, all of the other players must flip over one of their Alive cards. The player who played the last card from their hand becomes the dealer. Therefore I would think the total would get reset to zero in your example.

When the first player flips over their fifth Alive card, the game ends. The remaining players count how many of their Alive cards they haven’t flipped over. The player with the most Alive cards that haven’t been flipped over, wins the game. Each team only uses one set of five Alive cards. Each player gets their own set of ten cards for their hand though. The objective of 5 Alive is to be the last player with at least one Alive card remaining face up on the table.
