About this deal

And suddenly, Peanut is transported to the dazzling illustrated city of Chroma, where art and creativity are everywhere and her new friends include a giant talking alligator and a dog made entirely of scribbles. One thing i really love about this book is the illustrations in side, they are black, white and orange. Happy Hatchday was awarded a GOLD Junior Design Award in 2018 and Give Peas a Chance was nominated for the CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal in 2019. It has an interesting central mystery and all of the characters are relatable and develop throughout the story. Peanut Jones and her friends suspect it might have something to do with the magical world of Chroma and the wicked Mr White's plot to wipe out colour, art and creativity.

He lives in London with his wife and three daughters and hasn't given up hope that, maybe, one of them will go to an Arsenal match with him one day. She is joined on her quest by her study buddy Rockwell, Little Bit (her genius five-year-old sister) and Doodle the dog. His ninth picture book, Show and Tell, was published by HarperCollins in August 2019 and won the 2020 Sheffield Children’s Book Award. Suddenly she’s pulled into a world packed with more colour, creativity, excitement and danger than she could ever have imagined. To make matters worse, Peanut has had to move schools and now attends St Hubert’s School for the Seriously Scientific and Terminally Mathematic. Parents are not usually the focus of books for children – they’re not the ones having the adventures, after all! Peanut’s had to start a terribly boring new school which only cares about Maths - NOT the right fit for someone who would rather be drawing. The only people in Peanut’s life who seem to care are her younger sister Little-Bit and the annoying kid from school, Rockwell.

Louie Stowell, author of Loki: A Bad God's Guide to Being Good Rob Biddulph is one of the finest, most innovative creators we have. Peanut Jones, artist and adventurer, and her friends suspect it might have something to do with the magical world of Chroma and the wicked Mr White's plot to wipe out colour, art and creativity. This is a book suffused with the joy of art, by an artist and for budding artists everywhere, but most of all it is a hugely enjoyable, witty and exciting story that will captivate readers of all ages.

His twelfth picture book, The Blue-footed Booby, was published in August 2022 and has been nominated for the Yoto Carnegie Medal for Illustration 2023.
