This service is appropriate for the Feast of the Epiphany, whether it is celebrated on 6 January or transferred to the Sunday falling between 2 and 8 January. ¶ The Gathering ↑ When the procession has taken place earlier in the service, then at the end a hymn may be sung, or the canticle Nunc dimittis in one of the forms here may be used. Tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem; and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch. Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad; and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
