About this deal

But despite its sandalwood notes on paper, Daisy is truly clean and comforting, and I don’t get any insufferable woodsy spice. Along with the signature Daisy violet scent there is an outdoor green vibe which is very refreshing – like freshly cut grass. People need to stop saying this is for young women and/or teenagers because I'm nearly 50 and I wear this and people LOVE it on me. My flatmate owns a bottle of this and I honestly can't even identify when she's wearing perfume as opposed to deodorant. This perfume has wannabes like Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, but Daisy is better simply because she is the OG.

It just doesn’t smell clean, no matter if on paper or skin or straight from bottle it just doesn’t smell clean, there is something ammonia-ish end to it.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Sorbet is one of my favourite Daisy bottles and marketing campaigns; I love the pink and purple colours and the name ‘Sorbet’ reminds me of fruity freshness! Marc Jacobs Daisy Delight was another limited edition release alongside a Daisy Eau so Fresh version. Daisy" by Marc Jacobs was one of those ubiquitous scents back in the 2000s, when fresh, fruity and ozonic florals ruled the day. It's a classic Alberto Morillas scent, a solid pick for the one fragrance that exemplifies what he's best at. There are no daisies in the compositon but the fragrance is similar to them: gentle, nobly dry and slightly bitter.

He also told me he hates floral perfumes and we eventually later in life sampled way more perfumes together and it birthed my love for gourmands, warm, and spicy scents. I'm not yet sure if this is FBW, and I'm also thinking that this is similar enough to some other scents I have with very similar DNA (Jaipur Bracelet, perhaps) that I probably don't need any more than the 0. By removing the grapefruit note which tends to overshadow the strawberry in the original Daisy, it lets the strawberry be the star of the show. On me, this starts as fresh cut grass on a spring day then dries down to a white floral with green notes. This is just a basic, but a beautiful and interesting one, this is clean and simple, but far from a body spray or a boring generic shower gel scent. One friend, an academic, always wears Chanel Sycomore (which she describes as "bitter" and "pointy") to meetings because she feels that it keeps people from bullying her or trying to marginalize her; she's a very kind and compassionate person, so maybe she feels like it counterbalances her natural sweetness.

Such a great 'lifting' perfume for anyone who likes feminine and soft scents - or anyone who wants a floral that isn't rose-focused. It reminds me of a spring day just sitting on a park bench taking up the smells of the Jasmin tree's blooming. None of that is Daisy’s fault, which is why I voted a like rather than a meh (it’s in between those two). It isn’t necessarily juvenile, however I imagine this as a good fit for a fashionable young girl’s first perfume. My much younger cousin used to wear this when it first came out - she was probably in middle school - and I was in my late 20's.A radiant Marc Jacobs perfume for women that embraces the sheer joy of living, a liquid embodiment of pure glowing sunshine that perfectly mirrors the Daisy woman’s approach to everything she does: glorious, optimistic, playful, and highly original. I'm not a huge signature scent person, but she wears this one, and it smells like daisies and fresh cut grass to me.

I honestly don’t remember which one it was at this point, I think it was either Daisy or Daisy Dream, but I decided to go test out all the Daisy scents because of it, and by doing so, I fell in love with Daisy! got this in a sampler set along with gucci gorgeous gardenia, i’ve been comparing the two non-stop and i think i’m gonna go with daisy.Anyway to the perfume - I like that this smells fresh on me, I get the aquatics and the ‘green’ dry down which makes it stand apart from all the others that lie way over in the florals/sweetness vibe (in my opinion). out of the bottle this is very watery-fresh like a sweet drop of dew, with the warm sun reflecting on cool and clear waters. Full disclosure though, ozonic and aquatic fragrances tend not to be my thing at all, so I might be biased. Think maiden archetype that gradually ages into a mother who keeps an external tinge of innocence, but becomes a bit edgier as she grows up. Imo a scent like this needs to be worn lightly to maintain it's airy and bright nature, as oversprayed I'm sure it would turn into a floral headache dominant in synthetic magnolia.
