About this deal

The T shape of the blade helps to do some nice detail work and to get in those hard to reach areas. When you want to do some beard designs when trimming, you can use the ends of the blade to work it around, which is nice to have. I make sure all of the trimmers I get have that shape since I end up lost when they don’t. The T-Outliner is a little louder. Again, because the T-Outliner uses a larger blade, it is a little louder than the Outliner 2. This probably won’t make or break your decision as it shouldn’t be noticeable enough for it to be an issue. As well as the new skeleton casing, the GTX-EXO comes with Andis's new GTX-Z blade with a gold coating for superb corrosion resistance. The blade has a pre-set tighter gap than the standard T-Outliner, making it perfect for fine detailing. No product is perfect and Andis T-Outliner definitely has some things you need to be aware of. Our Andis T-Outliner trimmer review is here to help. The reason for that is because they are simply one of the best when it comes to top performing hair cutting tools.

Ultimately, the Outliner 2 is a great choice for all your trimming needs, and hits almost all of the right notes when it comes to a great trimmer. Besides being great for close-up work, this is a very comfortable trimmer to hold/grip. The body is slightly rounded, and it has molded grooves which helps make sure that it doesn’t slip out of your hand, even if your hands are wet. Its high-performance motor is known to be quieter than other trimmers in its class and price range. Unparalleled T-Shape Blades Well, it’s a fact that the blades are unusually sharp which makes them even better for close and precise cuts. Therefore, when shaving with the Andis T Outliner, you need to ensure you don’t get too close to the skin to avoid cuts or injuries. This is a great trimmer for handling all types of hair, not just hair on the head or face. While it is a great option for maintaining facial hair, it’s no slouch when it comes to body hair either. If you are using it as intended, meaning to outline the edges of the hairline or beard, then you’re only using it for a few minutes at a time. Then it rests while you finish the cut and move onto the next one. I find when I am working that I only use the trimmers about every 15 minutes or so. This gives them plenty of time to cool down and I have never needed to use a spray on the blade.

The T-blade setup is the primary difference between these two models. The T-Outliner has a special T-blade which makes it super easy to do perform detailed cuts that the Outliner 2 can’t quite match. So, the question here is – are you willing to overlook these flaws. Andis T-Outliner Comparison: How Different Is It From Other Trimmers?

Note that some electrical short potential (power) may still return via the neutral, particularly if there are issues with the appliance’s and/or the building’s electrical wiring. Well, this trimmer has been designed to shave as close as possible while mitigating the chances of accidental cuts. The primary difference with this trimmer and the Outliner 2 is the T-blade, thus the name T-Outliner. The T-blade extends over the head of the trimmer ever so slightly, giving you the ability to really work in the smallest of areas while ensuring a super clean cut every single time. Andis has been around for over 95 years providing over 90 countries with their superior products. Stylists, barbers, groomers, and even consumers trust Andis with all their cutting needs. This involves toughening these steel blades with Carbon to ensure that users benefit from the strong blades’ efficiency and also durability. While the Outliner 2 is great for close-up work, the T-Outliner is better. Not only can it get up close and personal with its zero-gap blade, but it can handle the details like nothing else.
