About this deal

TWO SPEEDS: The LP60X can play both 33 rpm and 45 rpm records. A simple switch allows you to choose the turntable speed and the record size. With it’s fully automatic functionality, it’s plug and play design (thanks to a built a phono preamp) and the various colors the record player comes in, the AT-LP60X is a perfect option for any beginner that values convenience in the world of vinyl. Best Selling Turntables

One thing I also like on the AT-LP60X is that it features a 3.255mm AUX stereo output. In the previous model, the turntable featured a non-removable RCA cable. They also offer high value for money, so if you are building an affordable system, they might save you a bit of money. I’ve outlined several key similarities and differences between these two models, but there’s a couple addition improvements when it comes to the LP60X that I want to point out. A/D, D/A: 16 bit, 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz selectable ; USB 2.0-compliant Windows 8.1 or above, or Mac OS X or above USB Function: PC or Mac with an available USB port (USB1.1 or higher) Windows 7 or above, or Mac OS X or aboveAgain, this is a more refined looking turntable, so the front panel buttons are now circular and a bit more recessed into the panel itself. To me, it gives off a less showy and cheap vibe and more of a classy visual appeal. It’s in no way a big deal in the long run, but visually, I much prefer the look of the LP60X. The AT-LP60X is Audio-Technica’s entry-level turntable in its latest iteration. Before it was upgraded in 2019, its model description didn’t include the X at the end. Before 2019 it was sold as the AT-LP60.

BUILT IN PREAMP: The built in switchable preamp allows you to connect this turntable directly to your amplifier, powered speakers or stereo system without needing any additional equipment. It plays 33 and 45 RPM records and it has a replaceable stylus (needle) that can be replaced for a low cost when it is worn out. It will usually take about 1000 hours to wear it out. This turntable is best for when you want to enjoy records in high quality but with complete ease of use. Now if you’re looking for a great Audio Technica bluetooth turntable, the good news is that the awesome AT-LP60X also comes in a bluetooth-ready version.Everyone is aware that a wired connection beats a wireless connection. And everybody knows no-one is buying an Audio-Technica LP60-XBT to make a wired connection. The sensible thing would be to join the XBT to a wireless streamer to start with – so that’s what I did. So it is very easy to use and operate. And you don’t have to worry about being distracted and leaving the needle endlessly spinning in the inner grooves. When the record is finished, it automatically return the tonearm and shuts off. The turntable pairs with speakers, headphones or other wireless devices. With its CSR BT chipset, the turntable is even able to connect to devices that support the Qualcomm® aptX™ audio codec, which offers much-improved sound quality over the standard SBC codec. However, the Audio-Technica’s real party-piece, though, is its ability to connect wirelessly to your system, smart speaker or similar. And the most significant upgrade here over the old AT-LP60BT is the appearance of aptX Bluetooth standard wireless streaming – hence the “X” in the model name. Being able to stream at this kind of standard is an obvious plus-point – as long as the Audio-Technica is doing its analogue-to-digital conversion effectively, of course. But, if you’re just an extremely casual vinyl fan, or you’re just wanting to dip your toe in the vinyl waters, the Audio-Technica AT-LP60X turntable is a fantastic deal.
