Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. is a major Taiwanese computer hardware manufacturer based in Taipei, founded in 1989. Under the Asus brand name, the company manufactures a wide range of products, including laptops, desktops, motherboards, graphics cards, monitors, smartphones and networking equipment, complete systems and PC components for end users.
Speakers - while I like the clarity of the speakers (good quality), the loudness is not there. Maybe it is just personal issue I have after using Samsung tab S6 and not having the sound here. Otherwise, both versions share many plus points such as the color-accurate display, the low weight and the compact design, and the good input devices with the optional number pad in the touchpad. The weak hinges and the non-expandable RAM deserve criticism. In addition, the Intel CPU is heavily throttled under load, but it runs quite cool and smooth as a result, but it's also louder than the AMD ZenBook. The ZenBook 13 is one of the first production laptops we’ve tested with Intel’s Tiger Lake CPUs. The Intel Core i7-1165G7 has four cores, eight threads, and a base frequency of 2.8GHz. It also uses Intel’s latest Iris Xe Graphics processor. This integrated graphics engine offers performance approaching that of an entry-level gaming laptop with a discrete GPU, and is a boon to people who prefer an ultraportable laptop but occasionally want to play games on it. Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
But if you’re someone who needs to crunch a lot of numbers for whatever reason, the touchpad can transform into a calculator with the touch of an icon. Thanks to Asus’ NumberPad 2.0 technology, tapping the icon in the top-right corner turns the touchpad into a calculator. The LED-lit device gives you a full number pad complete with mathematical symbols. The lighting has two brightness levels that can be adjusted via an icon in the top-left corner. A left-sided swipe from that icon will also launch the calculator. Asus ZenBook 13 performance The performance of the ZenBook 13’s 1TB SSD as measured by the PCMark 8 storage subtest is also excellent, though not appreciably different from other SSD-based laptops, all of which score around 5,000 points on this test.

The Asus ZenBook 13 exceeds those expectations, lasting 13 hours and 47 minutes on the Laptop Mag Battery Test (continuous web surfing over Wi-Fi at 150 nits of brightness). That’s more than three hours longer than the 10:01 premium laptop average. The Swift 3 lasted 11:09 while the MacBook Air tapped out after 9:31. The Envy had the shortest time of 6:31. Asus ZenBook 13 heat Easy USB-C ® Charging ensures 4.5-watt charging when connecting to a non-Power Delivery chargers, including portable chargers or USB Type-A to USB-C ® chargers. When using a Power Delivery charger, the charging speed will match the connected adapter’s power output, up to a maximum of 65 watts. Unfortunately, the ZenBook 13 isn’t as bright as I would have hoped. It averaged only 370 nits, which is better than the Swift 3’s 251 nits. They’re both dimmer than the 382-nit average, the MacBook Air (386 nits), and the Envy, which notched 401 nits. Asus ZenBook 13 audio
