About this deal

If you do have any questions about the microphone, let me know in the comments and I will answer them as soon as possible. It pretty much has everything you will need to start recording except for two things, 1) microphone stand, and 2) audio interface. This microphone feels nice, it’s got weight, but not too heavy looks good, a damn sight better than my rubberised plastic sf-666 did and fits the shock mount beautifully, again something my sf-666 didn’t leading to pops when I kicked the desk. I have the microphone, a shock mount, a tonor foam audio shield, a pop filter, a neewer nw 100 power with xlr to xlr input to the microphone, and xlr to 3.

Obviously the most important part, and I think I’ve told you before, I’m not an audiophile so take that onboard. Used mine for podcasting and in home studio recording, audio quality is passable, there are better, more expensive options if you want to sound as professional as possible, but if this is just a hobby or you are just trying out podcasting or music production this will help you get a start. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag.

Talking of the cables, They are both great quality and very long, giving you loads of options as to where you position your boom arm. Scissor arm mic stand, makes it more convenient to record and still work under my desk since it hangs and suspends over, can easily fold away and move to where I want or need it, and it clamps and holds perfectly to my desk.

The boom arm is great allowing you to position the mic at an optimal position, however could really do with some cable securing system, I’ve used velcro cable ties on mine to run the cables down the arm. Products shown, tagged or featured on YouTube by creators are sold by merchants and are subject to merchant's terms and conditions. I tried plugging the mic directly into my PC and skipping the phantom power supply, only to achieve the same results.i plugged it in and start using it and i cant hear my voice, i have to move the cable around to hear my voice but even then everything sounds like a static tv. This is the circuit diagram of the Neewer Nw-700 condeser microphone that I reviewed in the video above.
