the author adds a perspective in the story that allows you to find out the truth wayyyy before the characters do and i wish we had been left wondering until the very end what had happened to matthew. It does become a suspend disbelief credulity stretcher but I just go with the flow as somehow Coben manages to get his readers to go along with his audacious plots and it is immersive escapist reading which is just what I need!

Fool Me Once is currently in production at the streamer, with Coben serving as executive producer as he does on all his TV projects, and will boast a big-name cast, with the likes of Michelle Keegan, Richard Armitage and Joanna Lumley involved.
