We've tried it neat, neat with a dash of water and neat on the rocks and we'd encourage you to do the same and decide what suits you best. This was smooth and had some interesting but rather simple fruity flavours which were enhanced by the mild peatyness. From the Hakushu distillery in the foothills of Mount Kaikomagatake comes their Distiller's Reserve single malt whisky, a no-age-statement expression, that captures the smoky, herbaceous characteristics of their whiskies.
