About this deal

Like most fans of Clarkson's Farm, I utterly adored Kaleb but this book was... well, it was exactly what you'd expect of a sheltered young man who's never left the village he's grown up in or experienced any kind of life outside of his circle. The lovable rural bumpkin Kaleb Cooper won hearts and minds on the first series of the hit streaming programme which followed the adventures of the former Top Gear host as he tried his hand at farm life. Chipping Norton's celebrity farmer Kaleb Cooper has strong views on lots of things: sheep ('suicidal morons'), Jeremy Clarkson ('there are two types of farming, unless you count whatever it is Jeremy thinks he's doing'), goats ('they're a proper good clear-up animal, they eat everything - no wonder they taste horrible'), New York ('if it's like London, where there are no tractors, that's no good') and more. The book is based around Kaleb's opinions on different sectors of life, e.g., farming, travel, philosophy etc... I enjoyed this book, I thought it was very funny. I would recommend this book to people who're 12+; it's easy to read and funny for all ages. In the video, the young farmer seemed excited about the signing process, but he also gave himself an extra task - he wanted to determine how many books he could sign before his pen ran out.

Introducing Clarkson’s Farm favourite Kaleb Cooper’s worldly wisdom on life’s big issues, from the difference between straw and hay to the importance of having a hair perm. Last year he released his first book, The World According to Kaleb, based on his no-nonsense approach to modern life. He lives with his fiancée, Taya, and their son, Oscar, who is nearly two. When I first met Jeremy, I thought, “Who’s this muppet?” Then I realised he was deadly serious about farming, which made me anxious. I thought he was just going to fiddle about for a few days, then bugger off. Being his farm manager is like being a babysitter. If you think that teaching young kids is hard, you try teaching a 62-year-old who never listens.

The young farmer replies to everyone who writes to him saying they want to be a farmer, Jeremy Clarkson revealed in an interview with the National Farmers' Union. Get ready for season two of Clarkson's Farm with Kaleb Cooper's worldly wisdom on life's big issues, from the difference between straw and hay to the importance of having a hair perm. It follows ex-Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson as he attempts to run a farm in West Oxfordshire, and has created a star out of the 61-year-old's right-hand man, Kaleb Cooper. I will leave you with my favourite quote from the book: ‘You give a sheep a choice between life and death, and it’ll look at one, and then at the other, and then it’ll run towards death every time. Every day, their main objective is to die.’

Although another personality on the show - Gerald Cooper - shares Kaleb’s last name, it has been confirmed that the two are not actually related. The 22-year-old already worked on Diddly Squat Farm before Clarkson took over the running of it himself, meaning he likely knows the ins and outs better than the man in charge - and he doesn't let Clarkson forget it. From 1st July 2021, VAT will be applicable to those EU countries where VAT is applied to books - this additional charge will be collected by Fed Ex (or the Royal Mail) at the time of delivery. Shipments to the USA & Canada: About the Author: Kaleb Cooper is a farming contractor from Oxfordshire in the UK who plays a central advisory role to Jeremy Clarkson in all eight episodes of the Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm. Born in July 1998 he grew up in the Cotswolds and has been working in farming since he was at school. He studied agriculture at Moreton Morrell College and likes collecting tractors and cars. It comes after Jeremy Clarkson himself also released a farming memoir titled: Diddly Squat, a Year on the Farm. Season two of the successful show Clarkson's Farm is also reaching fans soon, with the release date set to be early 2023. Kaleb says he loves his farming life and in fact doesn’t even really see it as a job. Although he has mentioned that he would rather not have to deal with any sheep.

About what you'd expect from a 23 year old who rarely leaves the confines of Chipping Norton. Can spot the difference when he actually talks about farming as the word count increases, versus something he's looked up to bulk out a chapter. A very easy read with humour and lots of lovely pictures, written in a way that it's just Kaleb reading it to you. Just completely what he is, what he's like in the TV. Farming’s a tough job but the sense of satisfaction is worth it. The crops that I’ve been sowing today will be your loaf of bread next year. People blame us for global warming, but we’re feeding the world. And just in case you’re wondering, no, Jeremy Clarkson does not appear in my dreams. That would be a bit too scary." News Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper says he thought Jeremy Clarkson was a 'muppet’ when they first met Chipping Norton’s celebrity farmer Kaleb Cooper has strong views on lots of things: sheep (‘stupid’), Jeremy Clarkson (‘f***ing idiot’), goats (‘they’re a proper good clear-up animal, they eat everything – no wonder they taste horrible’), New York (‘if it’s like London, where there are no tractors, that’s no good’) and more. And among the surrounding cast, Kaleb Cooper was easily the most popular and it's clear the 21-year-old farmer wasn't expecting his very sudden rise to fame literally overnight.
