About this deal

Growing tips: sow directly into warm soil once risk of frosts has passed or into modular trays indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost. While every effort has been made to describe these plants accurately, please keep in mind that height, bloom time, and color may differ in various climates. This amazing new variety boasts a captivating blend of soft rose, apricot, and peach tones, making it an absolute showstopper in any garden. The benefits include getting a jump on the season, having access to hundreds of specialty varieties that you won’t find at your local nurseries or garden. Sow Cosmos seed from March to May at a depth of 3mm (1/8″) in a good quality seed compost, and cover the seeds with a very fine sprinkling of vermiculite.

Deadhead regularly and stake early in windy areas, as the branches are quite brittle and can snap off at the central stem.Gently tuck your seeds into the soil, making sure they’re cozied up at around 20°C to encourage speedy sprouting. Every garden should have some Cosmos bipinnatus - so easy to grow, colourful and with a very long flowering season. Awarded for their novelty in 2018, these cosmos bloom early, gracing your garden with their unique charm.Eden Brothers’ Cosmos Apricot Lemonade is lovely in the field, but if you can bear to cut a few stems, makes for a stunning arrangement in the vase. Individual blooms don’t last long in the vase, about 4-6 days, but each stem is loaded with multiple blossoms that open over a period of a week. Prepare to be amazed by the vibrant beauty of Apricot Lemonade cosmos, one of our popular cut flowers. Gradually harden off before planting out in May 30-45cm (12-18") apart once all risk of frost has passed.

One package will easily provide you with an abundant number of flowers for many years to come because you get 50 seeds. I’ve had it on trial this year: it has the same neat and bushy habit, and early flowering, as ‘Lemonade’, the plants have made about 50cm and they’ve bushed out well. Stake and tie cosmos plants if necessary during the growing season, water regularly and dead-head to prolong the flowering season. Gorgeous Cosmos with burnished apricot and peach petals with raspberry pink centres, edged with the same pink.

Easy to grow , I did start them off indoors under a plastic cover , then planted out once hardened off a few weeks later. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into 7cm (3″) pots and grow them on in cooler conditions until large enough to plant outdoors.
