About this deal

Maclaren provides a LIFETIME warranty from the original date of purchase and you have to be the original owner. This popular lightweight buggy now has an extendable leg rest and a simple single-hand recline, which allows you to take the seat from full recline to an upright position in seconds. It’s been on train journeys, up and down escalators at tube stations, and hefted up and down the stairs by very nice men who offered to assist me out of Oxford Circus, plus my mum. The oversized expandable waterproof UPF 50+ hood offers plenty of coverage to protect your baby from the elements while the fully reclining 4 position seat comes with an extendable memory foam footrest that can transform into a cocoon environment for newborns. The major downfall is the straps and how hard they are to adjust whether your child is in it or not.

We've been on the bus many times with it and it is easy to get on and off and doesn't take up lots of room on the bus. In suburbia, the bulky and clunky travel system rules the road, with the infant carseat that goes from car to sidewalk and back in mere minutes. At times, the Quest can offer a bit of a bumpy ride, so I don’t really feel comfortable with it in newborn mode for a long journey.com Limited, registered in England and Wales with number 03934849, 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom. This standard means that all Maclaren buggies meet or exceed the highest safety standards mandated anywhere in the world. com Limited is an Appointed Representative of Compare The Market Limited who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

As buggies go this is a very good design, it packs in everything you want in a buggy without being bulky and heavy. Suitable from birth up to an impressive 20kg, the Avia has a roomy seat with lots of space for your little one to grow and the adjustable back rest offers a fully lie-flat recline, which is perfect for afternoon snoozing. No pushchair is a doddle uphill but travel systems on this factor have the edge on lightweights as they have much more built in suspension. With its luxury quilted seat and comfortable suspension, the Quest ensures the smoothest, safest and most cozy ride available. They do advertise it as a one-hand fold, but you probably wouldn’t do it with just one hand because to engage the automatic lock you have to bend all the way down to the ground which will be difficult with a child in your hands. He decided it had to be durable, safe and lightweight, and this still rings true today for Maclaren buggies, but with bells on.

Overall: There’s a good reason this is the gold standard for city strollers – it’s lightweight, it’s sturdy and it will last. For rougher ground we tend to use back carrier as small wheels tend to find it hard going in and out of potholes.Maclaren takes pride in safety and durability and for over 50 years we have been dedicated to creating premium products that are safe, stylish and innovative. Apart from the vibrant dual colours on offer, and the nostalgia associated with a Maclaren (I was pushed around in one myself), what I love most about the Maclaren Quest Sport is how light it is. It’s generally good on steps and less inclined to catch on smaller, shorter depth ones, plus it’s a one-hand fold pushchair but it does take a little practice as like every pushchair, it has it’s own knack.
