The top and middle notes agree with me and it smells fabulous, but as soon as the base notes develop, I smell like a man! Its not a very complex scent, what you smell is pretty much what you get the whole time you wear it. HOWEVER, I would most likely never repurchase due to the poor sillage and dry down on me, which smells really masculine?

This created by Gil Clavien and has a top note of Litchi, middle notes of Peony and Vanilla and base notes of Sugar and Woody Notes.

So clean, so nice for almost any occasion, and as others have noted, definitely discouraging to airborne insects. It's very fresh and light, and definitely a feminine scent, but I feel like this would be like a "feminine" flanker of Acqua di Gio.

I’m sure if I were to ask him to pick a favourite from my collection, this is what he would land on. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. I have been putting off purchasing Bombshell because of all the bad reviews but got myself one finally. I don't know how I feel about this, there's a note in it that bothers me and I can't put my finger on it, but I hope I'll warm up to it because it's iconic. Don't get me wrong, I still love this one in my 30s, no matter how it comes across or how people see it as.my mom gave the rest of this to me after using up most of it, so i never used a lot, mostly just a spurt or two on my neck. Like many have already pointed out, this is not the sexy, ooh la laa -femme fatale scent it is marketed as. it's like the main note that is always there for me, and for some reason this reminds me of aqua kiss but way more intense since aqua kiss disappears after 5 mins.

If the passion fruit was a fresher scent, I could see it possibly harmonizing with the peony and going into a different direction, but unfortunately that is not the case. The peony shines through very well and the woodsy and floral base notes bring a lot of warmth to it. People say it's generic, and I can feel why -- nonetheless, this is an easily recognizable and very special scent to me, personally. Ask random people what they think of when they hear the words “mid range perfume” and for a good proportion of them, they’ll probably think of something like this. Still, according to the time of day or my mood, I'd waver between this and Seduction or layer both, this one closer to my neck and Seduction a little lower on the body.

At fist you get overwhelming pineapple and fruit and something like a blackcurrent scent that I really dislike as it reminds me of cat pee. This perfume reminds me of Rhianna singing in the vs show, and of early new beginnings of becoming a woman. Honestly, I don't get "fruity" with this, it smells quite floral (possibly a more sweet floral than a true floral) and has somewhat of a shampoo or hairspray like quality, but it doesn't smell bad. There is something special in here I have overlooked (not the alleged bug spray effect, but that is just a bonus).

I think it was the jasmine that made me feel that way, as I generally associate it with more "grown" scents.To me, this beats out the other flankers (Intense, Passion, Seduction) and I am excited to revisit discontinued Bombshell releases. Definitely worth a sniff if you're looking for a nice clean, pretty, fruity, greenish smelling summer scent.
